Tuners near TX?
Monday, November 07, 2011 6:37 PM
So I didnt see a post in Boost or on here for a list of known COMPETENT tuners near Texas.
Has anyone started a thread for a sort of 'central database' of tuners based on region? Specifically HPTuners, but a known list of members that can tune any type of tune would be cool if there isnt one...

You can get a trifecta tune

good to know there are some close enough to drive to if necessary.
Pretty much have heard HPTuners or dont tune at all..if you want to do it 100% right. Id rather pay a little more to have someone tune in person, on the actual ride. Just me though

my friend laser_racer is a pretty good tuner. i've ridden along in some of his tuning sessions. he's full of knowledge and very easy to work with. he lives like 5 mins from my house. we are located about 20-25 minutes south of downtown Houston.

this is straight off his personal website www.real-coatings.com

Nice, some great info.
I think this info is scattered throughout the forum, it would be nice if there was a "Tuners by region" thread at least. Not necessarily this, but already some good prospects. Thanks for the info guys

maybe...but i was never one to do what was "popular" ..im quite happy being the odd ball out. Beating boosted ecotec's with an all motor 25 year old engine design has always managed to put a smile on my face.
although, i AM looking for a well priced LNF Kappa car....no harm in having both engines right
