GMTT Ft Worth: 1st Annual Toys For Tots Toy Run
Wednesday, October 17, 2012 11:28 AM
I am very pleased to announce GMTT Forth Worth's 1st Annual Toys For Tots toy run! This time of year, with all of the hustle of the season, its sometimes easy to forget about the others out there who are less fortunate. So this year we are giving back!!

Toys for Tots is a Marine foundation that helps local area children receive presents for Christmas that they might not otherwise receive. It is a 100% charity driven organization that, with the support of the local communities, helps hundreds of children all across the area have a good Christmas.

What we ask of you is that you bring new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 0-12. There will be a $20 minimum for the amount spent on gifts (it goes to a great cause after all), and we ask that you bring at least a gift for a boy and a girl as we are trying to help out as much as we can.

This event will start off at 9am on December 1st in Burleson, TX at the Wal-mart on 174. We will be leaving at 10am sharp and driving the gifts up to the Toys For Tots warehouse in Dallas. Given that the foundation is still securing their warehouse we are waiting on confirmation of the address, and maps of the route taken will be handed out the day of the event as people show up. We will get to the drop off location around 12 noon, which should give up plenty of time for a little cruising along the way.

GMTT Ft Worth: 1st Annual Toys For Tots Toy Run
Date: Saturday, December 1st, 2012
Location: 951 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson TX 76028
Time: Arrive - 9am Depart - 10am

After the event is over, we can all go to a local restaurant for some lunch or something of that nature. This will be confirmed and a location picked as soon as we have a rough head count and an exact location for the drop off, so more details will follow.

So please, come out this year and help us make a difference in our community by helping out those less fortunate then ourselves this year.
