Just...what if Cavvies were rear-engine?

So I was driving, thinking, doing what I do best - wondering.

I haven't measured in DETAIL but what if you rearranged the engine and installed the ecotec in the rear of the cavalier. Use the same wheel for drive/transmission/power and just wire everything to the back. You'd have a RWD Cavy and a nice little handling car. Front wheels could work on turning instead of both driving AND turning and I think it'd be pretty fun.

Problems:
-intensely difficult
-TONS of custom fab
-PITA wiring situation
-people will say "Its just a cavy"

...but what if?

You'd make the front end too light, you'd never keep control of the car in cornering.

the just a cavy thought is all more reason to. it seems a lot easier then my LS7 with a vette rear end convert. gm should make another RR car in my opinion.

Myself I like the idea of a twin engine cavy....we've eyeballed it before and it could work.
