what do you guys think , do you get slower tha]e more miles that are on the engine

well engines need to be broken in when you first get them. And proper maintenance and care will keep the engine going for a long time. So im guessing the better you take care of the engine the less power you loose as the years go by. If you keep everything perfect then i think theoretically you wont lose any power and the engine will never die

I have a subscription to car and driver, and they do many long term test (by long term i mean 0 to 40,000 miles) on differnt cars. Usually after 40,000 miles they mange to lower there quarter mile and 0-60 times by a few tenths.

But there will always be friction. So eventually it will die.
