Intake a rip off?

i've heard these ebay one usually do fit, but the filter you get is cheap.

personaly i wouldnt go for it. it duznt even tell you who makes it. plus at that price how good could it be.

it depends. I have a 2200 2001 cav and I had to mod it. (I have one similar) It will fit if your throttle body is positioned horizontally like on the 98's but my TB opening faces up! they fail to mention this in the listing.

you can get the same things in that ebay auction at autozone for around $50.

and all you need to have it fit a 98+ is an elbow. it'll fit the 95-97 fine. all it is, is a honda civic short ram and a honda accord short ram put together.

if you pay more than 50 bucks for a metal pipe and cone filter id say your getting ripped off which is precisely why i dont see why ppl spend 200 bucks or more on the AEM ones, the performance is no different and the fancy paint job you can duplicate yourself
