agressive exhaust
Sunday, February 20, 2005 11:13 AM
Alright, check it out. I'm looking for an exhaust for my eco, but all the one's I've heard in person don't have even close to the sound I'm looking for. I like an exhaust that's loud and sounds really agressive, but most exhausts i've heard on eco's are either realy mellow or sorta high pitched and annoying. If anyone'sgot any good ideas on an exhaust that would be loud and have pretty much a straight pipe kind of sound I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Tim

"Hey man is that a Cavalier?" "Yeah." What you got in it?" "It's stock." "Oh."

btw, I plan on getting the pace-setter 4-1 header soon after the exhaust. I know that will change the exhaust tone a little bit.

4-2-1 header > 2.5" b pipe > carsound 2.5" cat > custom 2.5" catback > decent flowing muffler... you're effin golden.

pacesetter header, carsounds/magnaflow cat, thrush muffler/resonator, magnaflow muffler. all 2.25''. thats my setup

my opinion - sounds great now, but if you want aggresive then wrong setup i think.

are you looking for vette sounds? have fun

my vibrant sounds deep and aggressive when accelerating, but it does mellow out at cruise. I don't have an eco though. its on a 2200.

TRD 2.25" cat-back. It gets louder the more mods you perform and is almost stock at idle.

Next June or July you should be able to hear my car. I'll put up some vids. I have to wait till I get back from Afghanistan and I am out of the army. I'm in Italy right now. My camcorder is with me but my car is in the states.

you want loud and aggressive? Get an OBX muffler. they are all over E-bay and you can get one for under $70 shipped. I have a custom bent 2.25" cat-back with an OBX muffler---I love it, it sets off car alarms in parking garages.
