whatever you do do DO NOT use a magnaflow without a resonator. my Iperformance exhaust is 2 1/2" mandrel bent with only a magnaflow and its pretty loud (actually louder in the car than out of it) and its really buzzy. it pops, hisses, makes all kinds of noise. actually it sounds like an open exhaust race car. im replacing the muffler with a flowmaster 50 series(supposed to sound and flow like a 40 series but quieter). also have a car chemistry resonator waiting in case its needed as well. but i do have to admit it flows really good...especially since i have their header as well...which is a great piece. i had a Stans(now called Iperformance) header, dynomax cat, 2 1/4" piping, and a flowmaster 40 series on my sunfire(2200) and it sounded great.
