3inch exhaust setup

Can an ecotec support a 3inch exhaust setup? Even if its not boosted?

The local exhaust shop says the sunfires cant support 3inch which I kinda find it to be bullsh*t. They said they cant bend the pipes from the headers to the back.

I have a 2003 ecotec in a 2002 sunfire.

Heres my current setup with the ecotec

you can run 3" just get that puppy to crank out 10,000rpm's without spinning a bearing.
