These are 2.3 HO adaptor flanges to allow you to bolt up the 2.3 HO or LO intake manifold to the 2.4 Head. The only modifying needed to be done will be to the 2.3 Manifold which consists of slotting out and elongating specific holes. The adaptor Flanges are made of high grade Phenolic material, a much more expensive non heat transfering material which will keep incoming air/fuel cooler for better performance. For what you are getting it is a bargain you will not find any where else. Persision CNC machined, will save time money and better performance. The price is only 55$ and are ready to ship. Not advertising just letting everyone know of a new product and I know everyone wanted to see pictures.
They look really good, I'd also like to see pics of them installed, so when you have those post them up! Unfortunately for me, I'm unable to take advantage of this at this time.
I want to see exactly what you mean, or what needs to be done to use it. Thanks
Basically, his flange will bolt up to the 2.4L head.
Take off the 2.4L manifold and the flange slides right on there.
As for the LO/HO manifold,
Like it says over in the FAQ at NY jbodys, you have to slot out the bottom holes and drill the two inside holes 'lower'
The HO/LO manifold holes sit a little higer so your basically drilling to ge tthe thing to sit lower.
Its all in the faq.
Although, I'm still wondering about something....
Oh well will have to wait and see...
Folks with Exploited's flange are happy, and this one seems on the same level or better +/-.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.

I realize this, but I want pictures of the product installed. I have always heard you had to cut the 2.3 flange off and weld on a 2.4 flange. Also the ports on the 2.3 manifol and the 2.4 adapter plate are still not going to match (correct?)
How are you going about selling these, a GP, website, clasifieds, personal contact. I am very interested, I have the exploited flange in aluminum and it conducts heat pretty bad. So, count me in.
Re: NEW PRODUCT:2.3 HO Phenolic Adaptor Flanges PI
As for the bottom not being tapered is because the 2.3 flange is larger top to bottom leaving a little space, about 1/16 of an inch. I went to a race shop that builds motorcycles located right next door to ask about this. They say it will not make a difference due to only air passed through, not fuel. The same amount of air will flow due to the 2.3s larger runners and plenum. If you are really concerned then just grind down the port on the head, but it will not make a difference. When I saw that I got kinda nervous as well but since it is the air, not fuel/air there will not be a problem.
What really sets this product apart is it being made of Phenolic material. As for the thickness it is made of 1/2 material.
I will get pics today of them on a head. I still have one head at the machine shop and one at my house which is a 2000, are they the same because I was using a 96-99 head at the machine shop. Either way I will get pictures up.

well, i'm planning on putting and extra injector in each runner, as close to the intake port as i can. so i guess this will be a probelm for me. and somehow i dont think its that easy as "just grinding down the port on the head". but hey, i'll figure something out, i always do...

Its easy, the material is like wood basicly, you can grind it down with a dremel, or even sand paper.
