the flange need to be slotted like this
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Umm does this look off to you like it does to me? My 2.3 gasket does not match up with the 2.4 head or the spacer from Chris.. How much modification do I have to do to the gasket to match the head?

Now that ive thought about it, do I just rim around the holes on the gasket to fit? just as long as its sealed right, it doesnt have to light up perfectly by the holes?

AHHHHH, I knew I had to modify it but not this much HAHA.. Thanks man.. Ill get right on that.
by the way, the manifold covers up the pcv hole. So im sure it doesn't matter that the gasket does as well

hey if that pcv if covered and is sealed off is it gonna cause problems or effect preformance cuz mine is blocked and dont really see any problems?????
^^
This right? I don't know if itll cause problems or not. I think alot of guys on here have this blocked with the spacer and are not seeing any problems.

Yes, I do still have them available, PM me for details.
As for the little hole, I know I have around 50 people with the flange and not one complaint. The PCV hole being blocked does not hurt performance and no one has come to me with any problems. Thanks everyone and FYI I have 12 more.
Thanks
Chris

I'm grinning from ear to ear. Cant wait to get mine. I'm opting to move my battery tray so I can have intake piping coming straight from the throttle body down into the fenderwell. As always I'll take tons of pics of the install for y'all to see. Thanks again Chris!!!! You rock
Great to hear that. I am happy to hear my part is going to help make big power. Glad to hear everything is getting there okay.

I have the exploited flange, but he did the port matching in the wrong direction. And i know of people he still owes $77 or the flange still.

haha isn't it great how scumbags get away with that stuff?
Not chris though, He makes a damn good product. Hell it's been on my car for several thousand miles already and not one damn problem.
as for that pcv hole, would you suggest drilling a hole into the flange? is this hole supposed to be uncovered? where does it lead to outside of the head?
Steve (CanadianJ) wrote:as for that pcv hole, would you suggest drilling a hole into the flange? is this hole supposed to be uncovered? where does it lead to outside of the head?
it circulates back into the 2.4 intake manifold through a miniature runner.
I'd like someone to come forward and say without a doubt if it is or isn't harmful to block that PCV hole. Obviously its there for a reason. Where's the gases going to go if its blocked off?

so since the ho manifold doesnt have the runner, what else can be done?
I dont think it would hurt to drill a whole in the flange to match the factory pcv hole.. I MAY do that..

A better way would be to drill a hole threw the flange AND the manifold, and run it to the hole on the back of the manifold thats on an angle (closes to the TB area) buy using a vaccum hose.

Sorry for the double post but i forgot to ask this. Does the new gasket go between the addapter and the block or the mani an the adapter or do i need two gaskets, one for each locatoin?
