LN2 / 2200 crank pulleys
Thursday, June 28, 2007 11:37 AM

What crank pulley is this^^^^^^^, and whats the difference between a 2200 and a LN2 crank pulleys. I bought two LN2 crank pulleys...at least i was told they were LN2 crank pulleys, and they are the same as the picture above. Do I have the 2200 and LN2 crank pulleys backwards? WTF

I don't believe there is any difference between the 2200 or older 2.2 ohv pulleys. You thinking about making us some decent pulleys?

The alternator pulley is designed, and I am running a GP on it now.
The crank pulley has been designed since 9/22/06.
Just making sure the cranks are the same.

When can we expect a GP on the crank pulleys?

thats a 2200 crank pulley I got 2 sitting in my garage.
I dont beleive there was a change in the pulley design from 2.2 to 2200

YES PLEASE get a pic.

I believe there is no need to get it balanced since it will be CNC machined, and be balanced very well right of the machine.

I do not think there is a difference, but I am being lead by another forum saying there is a difference.

I took the part number stamped on my old pulley ('96), which is the same as the one you show, 10112371 and did a look up of the number on GM Parts Direct. It just came up as "PULLEY & DAMPER". I also looked up the pulley for a '99 LN2, it came up with the same number, so I would presume they are the same.

So Does this mean the 2200 crank pulley is going to be produced shortly?

I wonder if the S-10 LN2 pulleys are the same as the J-car's?

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

Nope. They stick out farther so they can drive the fan.

AutoCad 2000 or 2002 and Solidworks 2004.
Why do you ask?

I'll test it for you, but I'm running the ASP pulley right now. That might skew the results a little.
