Sorry havent posted in a while, Ended up taking a break because Of Bills, having to buy another car, and having a Turbo coolant line blow out on the 240.
Pistons should be done this week, then Karos Sending them off to me. That will finish the engine parts collection then its time for assembly.
Total Current cost of build with tons of great deals and a few pre-owned parts: $2765 by receipts (includes new engine, Machine work, and Fluids). Still gotta buy random bolts, hoses, and stuff im sure. Also Plan to get a new 2.75" freeflow exhaust installed. Then its time to collect SC parts.
Do not forget to balance the rods. Notice one is heavier than the rest, lol. Eagle switched designs midway through production to a beefier rod. One is. The other 3 are the previous style. The one needs to be shaved a bit properly.
Don't know if you did this already but I do not want you assembling it all up as is and then have issues, lol.

If they are Wisco, Be prepared for a LONG LONG wait.
Unless its something they shelf.
Alrighty... Just picked up my Rods from the machine Shop. Started Basic Assembly. ...Time to go back to the machine shop. Turns out Wisco Pistons have a SLIGHLY Larger Wristpin than OEM. So I have to have my Eagle Rods Honed to fit the Larger Pins.... There goes another 1-2 days lol
.sexxyyy pistons..me jealous

i hope your planning to add some nitrous along with a 2.5" pulley, a cooling injection of some sort as well as one HELL of a custom dyno tune. even with the high compression and everything your doing i honestly dont see it breaking 250whp.

Meth is for sure, Not PLANING on N2o at this time, But I will do what it takes. Main thing is, I want to keep the car DD Safe.
Nice.
10.5:1 compression, ported head, some big cams, ported blower with 2.5 pulley, alchy and 75shot, and a great tune and maybe youll come close to 300whp; thats in like 30 degree weather hahaha. Even if its under 250whp it will still e one hell of a fun car. I miss the reliability of my sc, but love my turbo
Irony.... So Remember the whole Charade a while back when there was a mixup and I had already bored my block for .020 Over and the Pistons Karo had in stock ended up being OE sized. So I ordered .020 pistons to go with my block.
Well They Forgot to bore it, My block was OE sized the whole time... @!#$ NAPA!
SOOO Back to the Machine Shop for the THIRD time this week to Get my Block Bored to Match My Pistons! Mother F....
On a better Note I got my Pistons and Rods Matched Up.
With this many problems at least I know I'm doing a build on a J. lol
the fact they are boring the block to the pistons is the best way and really any place that DOESNT bore the block with the pistons that are going in it right there with the block aint doing it right.
lookn damn nice!

You look so much cuter with something in your mouth.
I could have done it for you right the first time, $20 a hole, and that's micing the pistons, checking the bore, setting it up, boring it, chamfering the top of the bore, and honing it to proper clearence, which Wiseco reccomends .0025". I go .003" on a forced induction build though.
Project Resurrection is in full swing!
Wish you were in the South East! I dont have a dependable Machinist around here!
Looks like im getting EFFED by NAPA.
They Claim I never told them to Bore it .020 over and I told them to only hone it.
Now Im on a 1 week+ waiting list to have it bored and they are charging me another $125
(Previous labor Charges for just a Basic Service+ Hone and to get the crank polished was $267
WHAT THE FKC
So Car Probably wont run until next year.
napa ftl man. at least try o'reilly's...

Are you scared of the changes coming? The answer is on the inside.
