I've got an 05 cav with the pace setter header in fort wayne IN. If you'd like to have a tester I'd be willing do drop it off for awhile. I'd also be curious if you'd consider doing a dual exit setup with the back pipe. I'm not really satisfied with what I came up with last year and am thinking about doing it again.
listening for further details.

Standard meaning mild steel?
oops standard system I'd like SS though

So i got a few pictures for everyone. A few things to keep in mind when checking these out. This exhaust was really just for us to get a feel for materials used fab time needed and so on for pricing. It also gave us a chance to visually play around and see what would and wouldn't work. You can still get a good idea of what were looking to do. A few things will be changed from what you see here such as over axle height and a few bend angles. The biggest change will be higher quality and finish of the exhaust visually and welds. The geometry, flange placement, hanger placement and style is what you can expect to see carried over.
This is 3" mild steel tubing and a dynomax straight through turbo muffler that i had in stock at he shop.

hardest part is going to be going over the axle. gotta watch out for lowered cars. i know when we did mine, i could barely fit 2.5" over the axle. 3" would have been really tough. and my exhaust is HUGGING the car tight. just something to think about. also would be best to be doing it on a rack. so the car is under its own weight to see where everything is going to sit.
Ill take that mockup exhaust right there haha, exactly what I want. Looks nice guys, when will the gp start?
Im in on that GP....let me know Atom.
<table>hello</table>
looks good adam, only thing i would be worried about again with lowered cars is the flange for the mid pipe to rear section, i have scrape marks on that part of my exhaust.

R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
Yeah im thinkin we might have to do a v-band there just for clearance issues.
Also over the rear section ryne was taking about some high temp rubber padding for the axle. There might be something like this with all the 3" kits for the axle for clanking. No matter how its routed under there its going to be a tight fit.

I'm impressed.
I'll definitely be in for the gp when it goes down.

Thank you Dave and JBO!

I need a new exhaust pretty bad... P.M. me when you get prices and everything figured out...
I didn't see any diagrams of the side exit yet. Did I miss them?
The side exit will be a simple straight pipe off the B flange or the flange right after the double 45s. This makes every exhaust interchangeable from over axle to side exit. We wanted to make it a simple change over for track days and such.
Right now were in the process of test fitting this on a few cars to make sure this exhaust works with every car as we would like. Then we will be making the jig to produce these off cars. Once were at that point me and Ryne feel we need to run a few of these on a few test cars for about a week or so. We want to be %100 sure everyone is getting a top quality problem free product. As long as we have no issues with testing we will release these to order. I am going to be at the shop full time now starting next week so this project will get pushed along nicely. Id say a little less than 3 weeks and we will be taking orders.

I'll be watching this for sure. Was planning on using my christmas bonus for new exhaust anyways
Any word if you're still thinking about a downpipe for the Pacesetter header?
I've got a 2.4 auto with Pacesetter header and a nice downpipe into a 2.5 exhaust would be nice.
Oh, one more question. Are you going to provide a bung for the after cat O2 sensor even though this exhaust system won't have a cat?
I still want to use the sensor but have it in such a way it won't throw codes.
The Pacesetter setup would be extra nice as well as the capablity of having side exit or over axle.

I am definitely still trying to work out a way to make a downpipe for the PS headers. The hardest things I'm fighting in my head right now is how to make one of those ball-and-socket flanges on our exhausts. I really don't like them but IIRC that's at the end of the header so I have to use it.
If desired we can add the bung. IIRC they were like $10-15 last time I looked
Phil (not QBE): Shoot me an IM. We'll work something out because it would be nice to have the car here to toy with the PS setup. Also we can do anything anyone wants as long as we have the car

That way we can add our own hangers if need-be.

why not figure out a way to remove the ball and socket off the ps and put on a flange. make the mid pipe an over under connection so it has plenty of room to slide in and out if they have to adjust length to weld the flange on. work by the customer would be cutting off the ball and socket and having a flange welded on in the correct position to line up.

I've actually thought about removing the header and doing this but it's something that I really don't want to do. I've had such good service with this header that after 7 years of being on the car, I've never had to remove it so I really don't want to remove it now for some welding.
If I could weld and have a welder, I'd have done this a long time ago but alas, don't have that capability.
Either way, I'll wait and see how all this pans out for the exhausts we're looking to have on our cars.
I'm extremely excited with what I've seen and in a couple of weeks, will have the money to purchase.

Because honestly...how many J-Body people do you think can weld...let alone have access to a welder. We want to make this as simple as possible. If buying our stuff is going to cost them money just to have it work right most won't even bother.

Liking the designs.
Esp over the axle.
If you guys keep the piping going straight out like in the pics then I'm down for one.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Ok here's a little update. I've got a few more things finalized and here is what we are looking at doing.....
1) There will be no more 3-bolt flange option except on the 2.25in cat-backs. The flange size is causing too many issues with fitting it near the gas tank and it doesn't look like there's much interest in them. Instead all kits will come with V-Band connections, which is better for everyone. It will save us from making a jig just to put the flanges on thus saving you all money in the end.
2) All of the prices below are WITHOUT ADD-ONS LIKE MUFFLERS AND RESONATORS AND CATS!!!!!!!
3) Just as a heads up to everyone now...2.25 and 2.5 inch V-Bands are more expensive than 3 inch because they aren't as widely used. Keep that in mind when looking at the following prices please.
4) All of these were done based on 3in TURBO EXHAUST systems, but all sizes should be relatively close in price due to the added flange costs.
5) Mild and Stainless exhausts will be made from one piece of tubing. Aluminum will each be hand assembled as ordered since they are the most expensive and the most time intensive.
6) Cat back systems will be roughly this price as well. This is because to line up the 3 bolt flange to mate with the stock system REQUIRES us to build a jig to get right.
7) If someone REALLY wants it...I found a guy who can bend up 3in
TITANIUM exhausts for us. These would not be cheap though LOL.
8) We will be offering select header back setups as we get the cars in and the units fabricated.
Anyways...on to the good stuff you all want to see....
Mild Steel exhausts W/O side pipe add-on: $270 plus s/h
304 Stainless Steel exhausts W/O side pipe add-on: $310 plus s/h
6061 Aluminum exhausts W/O side pipe add-on: $350 plus s/h
Side pipe add-on for all materials: $50 (because we have to order another V-Band for it and fabricate a hanger)
For the GP, if we run one, we will be including the side pipe piece for free.

Titanium?!?!? Hell, you can total the car and the exhaust would be fine.
But anyway the prices sounds damn good, too bad im not in need of exhaust.
I'm completely in for this in the 304 stainless.
I hope you take PayPal.
