This is a big improvement over the RK "Dogbone!" There is only a slight reduction of vibrations from the motor at an idle. This is an inherent problem with all L4 motors and is corrected by the use of balance shafts, soft mount bushings, balancing and other methods. The TTR mount is stiffer than stock, so it's something you'll have to live with if you use these mounts, but is slightly worse on the RK mounts. The torsional vibrations that come from the torque generated from a motor and transmission under load has been greatly reduced, without the loss of structural rigidity. These mounts don't move under load, but absorb the vibrations that usually shake the car a fair amount under partial to full throttle.

IMHO: They are a good balance between a soft, comfortable stock mount and a solid racing mount. The best mounts for a street performance car.

Are there any discounts for the TTR upper mount. Mine is shot and I got your lower mount. Been looking at the billet upper from Level Zero....any comaprison from anyone? Relatively the same price with no TTR discount

No discount on this item, but from post on here, good luck getting one from LMZ. They are having structural issues (bending) and no word from them to members on this site for months?

Yeah I have read about the whole LZM crap on here. Its bulls&*^. I will be ordering the TTR upper too.

ORDERED! One lower mount replacement coming up. I am sick of re-fitting my LZM lower with new rubbers every other month. Not to mention that i have to tighten them more every time. And the vibes are soo bad, but the nosie that comes with it really takes its toll on a long drive. I am hoping that the TTR lower mount reduces some of the noise as well as making my vehicle easier to live with...

My upper LZM solid mount is still holding up, i got the 2.0 version with the thicker top plate.....FYI

I want to add that the ttr lower does reduce alot of vibes. It have an lzm solid upper and had an older rk lower mount, vibes were horrible but much better now. It even got rid of some false knock I was seeing while driving.

I did get the last one. It arrived today. Installed today. LOVE IT...Thanks TTR

Just installed mine today, and what a difference it made. My old LZM lower rubber mount made the inside of my car soo loud i could barely hear my custom exhaust. This new TTR mount eliminated a lot of the cabin noise. My car is a lot more driveable now. Thank you TTR!

I highly recommend this mount. Great job TTR, i just hope it lasts a long time as well.

Install was easy, but had to use the rubber mallet to get it in the housing, other than that it was the same process as the LZM. Tightened it to hand tight +1

Installed mine today as well over the Rk Sport one.
The car seems to go smoother ALTHOUGH under 2,500RPM it has a "drone" or vibration more than the RKS.
Idling is MUCH better than the RKS. Noise seems to be reduced, but haven't had much time with the car today.

ya, my idle had a new noise to it as well, but still less than before with the LZM.

Its funny, my ttr upper was busted and making a weird sqeaking noise I thought was something in my suspension which went away when replacing it with an lzm solid upper mount. But the ttr lower got rid of alot of vibes from my rk lower and got rid of some phantom knock.

So getting rid of the ttr upper helped,but soo did putting in the ttr lower. I think I have the best mount combo Ive had soo far, thats if you ever get an lzm upper after ordering.

agree. my TTR upper broke also after i think it was 4 attempts to fix it. so i got an LZM upper. Stil have the TTR lower in. but now i want to get rid of my LZM Upper for the RK Sport Upper.
