i found a local place that had metric to NPT adapters but they wanted $16 a piece not including shipping. the only good thing about that fitting is that we only need 1 more adapter (1/2"npt to -6AN). if we used the female to female 20x1.5, were still stuck with -10AN being the smallest adapter. so that means 3 adapters all together. let me know if you find something better John.
on another note....im going to measure how much ss line i need for both return and feed. im probably looking at more like 6 feet of hose on the 2.4
i forgot to mention those are nickel plated as well. i was actually planning on doing all nickel plated adapters instead of anodized. i like them better since the anodized are scratched easily.
I'd be down for a group purchase with the lt1 fittings and lines John
i gotta weird question here.. On the 2.4 rail, does it matter which side of the rail you put the FPR? Also, since my fuel gauge isnt on my rail, does it matter if I install it it on the feed or return line to get an accurate reading?
On the first page of this thread, I see Gary put his FPR on the FEED side.

^^ good call, i didn't notice that till now. Now don't forget he's using a Venom rail with what looks like an extension to get the FPR to mount right and is the feed side not a different size from the return side? if so that extension would obviously be needed iif the FPR was originally meant to be used on the other side of the rail.
Yeah Gary said he made a special fitting on the Lathe to attach that FPR.. I also have the Venum fuel rail.. So does it matter if the fuel gauge is on the return or feed side?

i think you would want it on the return side as if its prior to the injectors how can it hold a certain pressure at the rail for the injectors to run at
Check the group purchase forum. There is a post there for fuel rail fittings. Hope it helps

the FPR has to be on the return side. as far as the guage, you can put that anywhere from the fpr and back (feed).
Thanks guys for clearing me up..

i havent been around my car for a bit due to work, is our feed line the 3/8 or the 5/16 and is it ok for the feed to be -6an and the return be -8 or should it be the other way around?
Other way around.. If your not wanting to do -6 for both lines, do a -6 for return, and -8 for feed.

-8 for feed -6 for return
3/8 is the feed
5/16 is the return
I ran -8 for both feed AND return for the sake of simplicity, and used aeromotive LT1 adapters for the skwirl.
i got the lt1 adaptors on the way for the 3/8 and 5/16 line, ill probably run -8an for the feed and -6an for the return, it doesnt matter to me
Anyone have any pics of their new setups with the fittings and adapters?

I'm running SS lines all the way back to the tank. Heres what it looked like, engine bay is MUCH cleaner now, but this is right when I finished setting it up.
Picture
I've also cleaned up and powder coated the bracket for the AFPR too. I'm running the Venom rail as well in case some don't know what it looks like.

Do you have any more pics Josh? Maybe a couple from a little bit farther back showing the routing of your lines? thanks man
No sorry I dont. I just got the one but I guess I can snap another from further away in a few days.

cool man. I plan to post pics of mine once its all done this summer as well. I figure, the more pics people post, the easier it will be for others to do this in the future. Its also a good way to put minds together to create the best setup possible for us.
Ahh good ol thread bumping
Does anybody have pictures of the fittings they used back at the tank? Both my nylon stock hoses are crimped and bent BEFORE the fuel filter.
Thanks.

Id also like to see some pics of how peoplese up their lines, never saw any of them routed under the car and what not.
Dave bout topm you now about that walbro
Thanks Mike.
Quick search I found Brandons setup. Not sure how he connected the stock plastic feed line to the metal hard line. That is the part Im mostly concerned about because I need to fix that whole stock feed line. I got the return line from the booster pump take care of.
