All so there will be 2.3 ti retainers and locks. Have decided to go with ho springs for now. I will continue to look for a stronger spring with similar measurements.

do i like did and buy a 300 dollar burns merge collector to gain back some torque lol
I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
Brad about how much tq would this give back and how much hp woul you gain or lose?
there is no way i could accurately say, man. every engine is different with every component involved. there are hundreds of things that can change the output. best bet is to go to burns' website and read up.

Glad to see this.is.still being worked on.

It is but at a very slow pace. hopefully soon things will start speeding up again. im just waiting to get the head back, and some more $ to finish up some odds and ends and buy some decent track tires.
I've been building mine slowly as well. Its the proper way. If you rush too fast you run the risk of messing something up.

looking foward to seeing this thing done.
Glad to see my build is not the only one moving slowly. Really interested to see how our builds stack up to each other.

what are some good sticky dot tires i have some in mind but i need some other opnions. i dont know if i really want drag slicks becuase i might have to drive this to get it get it home, and back and forth to the track. lol
drag radials, jay. you wont need slicks.
reason i know that is because the best 60's on a j-body to date are 1.6's. even 600whp boosted cars. paul was cutting 1.9's on STREET TIRES with his n/a.
