Indeed that would look much better. I'll look into that after I get the dang ball joint boot on. Not looking forward to playing Russian Roulette with my hand and the GA control arm again. Anyone know an easier/safer way to get clearance rather than having someone stand on a pry bar and hope it doesn't slip with my hand in there?
Pull the hub/spindle out?
Glad to hear its finally up and running though!

Getting the exhaust done this week and then installing the AEM Uego back into the car and taking it to Evil Tuning in Reedsville, WI. Due to needing to pass emissions in order to register the car I don't have many other options. I would rather take it do someone who knows how to do this, isn't a shop, and is willing to teach me how to use this $600 program I paid for. However, without being able to drive the car legally, tuning this way is not possible.
Turns out the easiest way to access the ball joint was to remove the strut.
Going to give the exhaust shop a call to see if they can do the exhaust bright and early on Saturday so I can run the car up to Reedsville within the 8 hour dolly rental period. Car will be tuned on the 28th by Evil Tuning of Reedsville, WI.
So the original plan didn't work...they aren't open on Saturdays. Exhaust is done now and I will be taking it up to Evil Tuning early next week. After that the car won't be a nightmare anymore.
Exhaust and tuning are done. Was told that the car made 150 whp and 133 ft lbs torque. Will post up graph when I pick up the car on the 3rd. Just have to go through emissions and then I can forget all about this ordeal...minus the lessons I've learned from it.
Proof...not all that impressive, but I'm happy with it.
Hard to read what it says on the bottom...Run Conditions: 80.29 *F, 29.05 in-Hg, Humidity: 25%, SAE: 1.02
Max power = 150.15 Max Torque = 133.65

GM Racing Valve Spring Kit, JBP Stage 2 Cams, Pacesetter 4-1 Header, 2.25" dual exhaust, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Car, Redline Injectors, HPT
Pretty good numbers overall, but what are the grind spec's on the JBP stage 2's?
I would of expected more a bit from a stage 2 cam, though some stage 2's aren't as aggressive as others I suppose.
Thanks Zach for driving down and dropping the LD9 and F23 off!

Ahh, the comp stage 2's have less lift but a longer duration.
Would love to see a side by side dyno on both these cam sets with similar mods.... wishful thinking.
Thanks for sharing the specs though, hows she feel streetwise, I bet pretty quick.
Has more get up after 4k. Bottom end is lacking more than expected. Have to get to a track to see how it does. Hard to compare this car to its automatic predecessor though.
Yeah, it would already feel different by a lot. haha
When you do get it to the track let us know how it does!
Are you running a teel flywhee or aluminum?
