Air conditioner power draw/ vibes

Lets here your experiance with your A/C. I am boosted m62 style, and when i turn my A/C on, my car feels like a freight train. vibes like no other, and id say probably a 15% reduction in power. I HATE IT. To me it seems like the A/C compressor is rather large. are there any other options?

Its known that a a/c compressor takes roughly 10-15hp off the crank so 15% is about right, couple that with the charger and its going to be noticeable. I dont believe changing the size of the compressor s going to do much, since most of them draw about the same.

I notice very little difference in power between it being on or off...

I'm guessing the difference is not so much bad for the N/A world.

mounts + SC + AC = vibrations like crazy. The SC is drawing on the power already, so put the AC with that and its just a big draw down.

Step the idle up a bit?

I feel like Mad Max in reverse when I switch mine on at highway speeds.
