up front it looks like it's about flush but towards the back of the subframe it does look like the tranny dips below the subframe by at least a hair.
Tranny doesnt dip at all. I had the RK sport (straight) brace on my car when it was auto forever. That bar is flush with the subframe, I wouldn't of been able to use it if the tranny was lower than the subframe. I had maybe 1/4" between trans pan and brace

K braces are going to be powdercoated DOM Steel tubing. I will get one fabbed up. Does anyone have an auto that I can send a proto-type unit to for testing? I will offer it for 1/2 price.

I'm interested in the mid-chassis brace shown in the pics. Where does it mount? I don't believe it's legal for me running STC trim autoXing but I would like it for my track days. Also interested in the trailing arm bracing as I have been considering one of your rear tie bars for some time. I am also looking into a set of your control arms and fender braces. VERY interested in the adjustable rear sway. Could we get a lightweight/hollow bar for this? Can we also get adjustable & lightweight front bars? Also looking into my options for coilovers come tax time. What all does your system include? Would you be selling your caster/camber plates with these as one complete system? Springs/rates/valving for autoX trim?
How about a light weight flywheel machined from a stock LD9 one??

jason... is the entire center machined away as well? reason i ask is because the stock one looks like its machined in the center and the mantapart one is completely flat. i bet thats how they get more weight off it, has to be cuz mine is 7.1 pounds and you dont cut THAT much off just buy cutting out some elongated slots. lol
I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
I would be interested in the coolant overflow.

if you look closely you can see the ghost line where they DID machine that section down.

Actually both flywheels are from Mantapart. The one on the right weighs 7lbs 9 oz and the right one weighs 13lbs ( I think )
Yes, the entire center is machined, and the flywheel is alot thinner than stock too

Possible replacement bushings for exhaust? This seems like a trivial matter to some, but on other platforms they are capable of buying direct fit poly bushings. On the '05 the hangar near the rear left has seen better days. Plus the junk rubber in the GM/replacement that attaches to the body could be improved. Anyone else?
Any possibilities of pics of the K-brace without the heim joints?

Yes, I have ordered the material to build 10 of these units.
These are going to be made out of steel to be structural. Aluminum would give way to much. These will be fully welded without heim joints and also powder coated.
We are making 10 of these for the first run. The first run will be 89.99 shipped. We are also making these fit the AUTO's.
Stay tuned.
