Hi I was just wondering if anybody has herd of any oiling problems or any other problems on a L61 ecotec. we are building a circle track car for ashphalt, our other car is a 2001 cav 2.2 which is bullet proof but its an ohv engine thanks ps the track is a half mile moderate bank

You are correct. the OHV is bulletproof. Underpowered but bullet proof none the less.

The 03 Ecotec's did have some slight oiling issues from what I recall. Mine was an 04 and never had any. I imagine with the bank in your track, you would have to worry about the oil going to the one side and not being in the sump.

but if you have enough speed the oil should sling to the uphill side anyways or atleast i would think so
