havent been on in a long time, was woundering what kinds of engine mods you can do with-out having to get a tuner or spending a lot of money. car alredy has intake and exhaust,i would like a mean sounding lope with-out the high cost. it is a 2.4 ld9. any help?

well, to keep costs down you could go with a set of junkyard 2.3 HO cams/towers/lifters/springs/retainers. they provide a lope as well as a very nice power increase. you would lose your power steering since you dont want to spend money to do it right, though.
but unfortunately though if you arent willing to spend the money on tuning you might as well not spend any money at all.
speed costs money. if you cant accept that please stick to just filling your car with gas and driving it.
It's nice to be injected but I love being blown.

your car is run by a computer, tuning is priority.
if you want to get serious about performance, you're going to need to tune it.
Remove a plug wire for lope effect and install an Electric supercharger for power
