How much you charge to do it speedracerz? Is it hard to do?
Price wise, I'm not sure. Wrenchmonkey was the TG member who was doing them, and sadly I have t talked to him in quite awhile. I'd have to look into it.
As far as how hard it is to do: if building your own setup, as easy as reading a wire diagram and using a soldering iron. If installing a prebuilt unit, pretty much plug and play.

Tom was on XBL not to long ago. If I see him on again, I'll ask him to visit here.

I have a 2.2 setup on my wrecked car if somebody wants to buy it.
Have a nice day.
Good morning all. I could start making these again BUT this time around the cost will be in the 250 range as the last time I made them I was doing it almost as charity work. I haven't had a chance to look up parts cost but if they went up so will the price of the kit. I had a member contact me recently but was not able to do much as my 2 month old son and I both had the flu.
Let me know if their is any interest and the best way to contact me is through email in my profile as I'm not around these parts very often.
how do we know for a fact these actually aid in performance value vs stock?
reason i ask is because recently i finally used my TG conversion (after 4 years LOL) on my m45 car and honestly did not notice any difference over the stock setup. now, thats just the butt dyno and really of no actual proof so keep that in mind. i genuinely would like to know if this setup is better than a stock IDI setup.
is the benefit more so for the gap differences able to be acomplished with the use of the msd coils?
also, tom, any way we could use a mallory coil setup? i prefer black to red. (personal perference)
It's nice to be injected but I love being blown.
On paper...spec wise it should be better.

Mine was breaking up with the supercharger above 5500 RPM when I first put the supercharger on. It quit doing it when I installed the coil packs with no changes to the tune

hey i said it was insignificant!

I was thinking about using the dui screaming demom coils
I could do the wiring and adaptor blocks and leave it up to you guys to get the coils for a lower price. Any 2.2 coils will work.
Thanks Brian.
Realistically I need a couple people cash in hand before I start sourcing parts.
