I'm running an RKSport Header, no cat, two resonator blanks & two Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers.

I like it. Want me to shoot a vid for you?

It's pretty similar to a thrush glasspack. Straight through with a few pockets in the inside to quiet a small amount of the exhaust tone

from the header. You will never remove all the rasp from a header on a Jbody, but this is as close as it gets...that rasp was at about 6000 rpm's too btw

Yeah its hard to get any 4 banger to not be raspy but I want the deeper tone of a chamberd muffler ina go all 2.5 from header back to a single thrust welded and then a tip and be done lol

I have a pacesetter header, magnaflow cat, resonator and a supper 44 all at. 2 1/4", registry is up to date. I've gone through 5 or 6 setups over the years and this is by far the best, had it for a few years now. The resonator is what takes out a lot of the raspyness, stock exhaust has one.

I don't have a vid of the car revving but here is one idling right after the motor build.

I had a my 96"Z turboed with 3" turbo back side exit exhaust with 2 Dynomax bullet mufflers and it sounded amazing! Was not raspy at all but was kinda loud. I got thumbs up from several cops and pretty much every other person who was next to me. Might try that set up again but maybe 2.5" this time

The first three are after I added a real cold air box and changed to 2" from manifold to the Cat with 2.5" to a Flow Master 40.
The last one is before the exhaust change and with a stock airbox
