Ram Air back to OEM?

I bought a 99 Cavalier (2200) a couple weeks ago and it's got quite a bit of body damaged, most of which can be fixed with fiberglass/bondo. However, the PO converted it to Ram Air, and put a Ram Air hood on it. This is all fine & dandy, except the hood looks terrible in terms of appearance. I was thinking of trying to sand & repair it, but there is just so much bondo splattered all over it, I think I might be better off just replacing it. I can get a replacement hood from the local junkyard for around $50.

So my question is, would putting an OEM hood back on this thing mess up the performance with the Ram Air intake, or would it not really matter? Should I put the factory breather setup back on or leave it as-is?

It will make absolutely no difference in performance. I'd just put the stock setup back on or buy a cheap intake with a cone filter from eBay.

Don't use fiberglass to fix body panels, different expansion rates will make you regret it.
