I want to get

Around 200hp out of my 97 z24 w/ 2.4

Is that plausible without spending a metric crap ton on parts?

Intake, exhaust, colder plugs, and a 35 shot of nitrous oxide

Would it be possible without the nos? I don't want something I've got to refill gas costs enoughI wonder if I could get a small turbo for cheap making just a small amount of boost, just enough to hit the 200 mark.

And I have no clue why I'm aiming for 200 just seems like what I'd want for a dd.

Looks like ill be going for the nos (looks easiest)

I might have a line on a turbo pretty cheap. It's a pretty small one (not sure what brand/size yet) but with the cost of everything else, I couldn't do it.

whats a "metric crap ton" of money?

200hp isnt much if you do a budget turbo build. I probably spent like $1200 on parts a few years ago and had close to 200 on an LN2 my first time around. on a 2.4 its much less work to net the same results.

A 2.4 LD9 with a 5spd dynos about 125 whp... an auto dyno's about 119 whp.

That's bone stock.

Are you looking for 200 crank horsepower or 200 wheel horsepower?

One is a 50 hp net (about 40 at the wheels) and the other is a 70 hp net at the wheels which is closer to 100 at the crank.

Regardless you'd better plan to spend some good money to do it.

Crank would be fine with me. I'm not a racer, just a casual driver that likes to go fast.
