Although the valve cover has a stupid wave in the casting, but the coil pack cover came out very bad ;(

Just remember when powdercoating your valve covers there is a very good chance you will melt your plastic baffles in there.
That being said I do love the look of the intake manifold.

I removed the plastic baffle. It is only a plastic tube with an oring. I pulled it out when I was cleaning it.

I found some pictures a few minutes ago. I have no idea what mine look like. I know I washed the valve cover out after I baked and sand blasted it. Then I baked it again. I didn't see any plastic coming out so hopefully it didn't melt to bad. That is a very very very stupid design.

Yea I'd open up the new valve cover and check the baffles. I'm going to guess they melted in the oven and are going to restrict venting.
Drill out all the rivets holding in the splash shield and then you can get to the baffles. If I remember from when I did mine, they are the same baffles as a L61 cover so you could just swap some good ones over.
