I have a 2.4 in my car. Would I be better with a 2.3 HO intake or stick with my 2.4?

2.3HO like everyone else or make a custom intake.

The plastic one will work fine temporarily though. I ran it with a small turbo @ 14psi for a long time.

Not a big deal :-) custom or ho the way to go man. Idk how much i would trust a plastic intake for boost. Just my thoughts lol

The plenum size on the HO is what makes it more appealing to me for boost (if I had a 2.4 that is). Plastic doesn't scare me, but the design of the ho should be better for turbo applications. Plus you can more easily get a bigger TB on it.

I drove around with 21psi on my ln2 plastic manifold for a year, and have plans to go higher this season. Not too worried. Only reason I don't like it is cause I know I can design a better one for more power. I thought I popped it once but it was just the brake booster line that blew off. Lol.
