Welded plates on both frame rails and painted the engine bay.
What a nightmare to get the brake booster off. Took probably and hour as it was rusted fast to the firewall.

Picked up a hks ssqv 4 blow off valve
My aluminum coolant tees came in. One is 5/8" and the other is 1.25" both have a 1/4npt tapped hole.
My coolant fitting finally came in it was special ordered from 3 months ago. M10x1.0 female to m12x1.5 male
Now that the fitting came in I don't need the large coolant tee so that was a waste.

I used rubber insulated clamps to hold the coolant lines.

Made a cabin filter setup so when you turn the fan on it's not like your sitting in front of a wood chipper.

Passenger side frame fall rust fixed. Wasn't as bad as the other side.
Change my fuel pump feed line to the check valve to 6an instead of 8an. Much better fit.
Finished the waste gate coolant feed
LFU aluminum steering rack bushings installed

Hopefully my 4 months transmission rebuild gets done and I can get this engine in my car before I take anything else apart.

Installed the saab water pipe heat shield. Ran the vacuum lines and added a bunch of brackets for the hoses.

Need to find a way to weld the saab bracket to my turbo to support it.

Rob,

only thing I see is what if you pressurize the crankcase and blow oil from that vent on the valve cover into the intake on the turbo? Mine did this until I copied the GM racing design..

You defiantly want to be running a baffled catch can before the turbo. Your also probably going to suck oil into your turbo due to too much vac.

You sure, saab used the same setup stock? I don't see how that much oil can go through ought have valve cover baffles then through the charge pipe. I have a baffled catch can on the way but I just don't see it.

I am not 100 sure no. I swear I read it somewhere over on the cobalt forums. You can always just run it. Your going to find out quickly if it is sucking too much.

Picked up a cheap baffled oil catch can.

I may cut it open and modify it for some larger ports.

Had to get new tires for the whip. When I bought my rims they said they were 18x8 they lied. The tires would not fit I flipped the rim over and they say 18x7.5. The rims measured 8in with my rim measuring tool. I had so get 235/40/18 instead.

Bad news windshield and hood got messed up. Not sure what happened as I wasn't at the shop. I am assuming wind did it with the storm over the weekend.
