Is the nipple on the top of the areo. Pump a must have? Or can I just install the new pump without it?
You can install without the nipple but then you won't have the venturi function to fill the fuel cup.

Yes, I'm running 2 of those on my setup right now. Maybe overkill but I was totally DONE running out of fuel from lack of capacity lol.
No issues at all them them for the few months I've been using em. Their check valves seem to work better too; the aeromotive pumps dropped rail pressure almost immediately after power down. Now the pressure holds at like 30psi and drops very slowly

hello
sorry to dig this back up but Im running into some problems i have the aeromotive pump myself and have gotten a spare sending unit from a junkyard so i can just switch the entire assembly (less time on the lift) However i have managed to break one of the clear lines that attaches to the pump the ones that look like bendy straws what can I use for line that will be safe in tank? also the sending unit had the plastic lines with the gm quick connects cut off is there a repair kit for these as well? thanks again
Bump: I also noticed a foam sleeve around the fuel pump, Will I need this foam sleeve? If so where do I need to get one. My stock pump took a dump so I'm going full racecar lol. I was going to have to upgrade my fuel system soon before anymore modifications.
I believe ZZP sells the sleeve and lines

Quick question I want to install a "trap door" to the fuelpump so I don't have to drop the tank all the time, has anyone else done this and are there any pictures I can look at to see where I need to make the cuts?

anyone ever try or hear of these pumps? there saying there better than walboros and are basically plug n play...they seem to liek them over on the mustang forums
Also how hard is it to install just the pump like this? i always just replaced the entire assembly so this is a lil hesitant for me but its necessary....also would it be enough/overkill for my setup?
