RKSport Cool Air Intake

I just got the RKSport cool air intake. The installation instructions don't tell me that much and the piping intself has no holes for my sensors. I have a 2001 Cavalier 2.4L. How do I install this intake, and where does it go?

the pipe they gave u connects to the stock piece right b4 the filter, its the cool air section of the intake.

Oh, okay, thanks. I have a bomz racing intake in now so I had to take all of the older stock stuff out. Will I still get the same gain since the stock stuff will be back in, or will it actually be worse than the intake that's in now?

u should hook the cool air pipe up to ur bomz intake, if its routed like my injen used to be (filter sat behind the battery) just put the cool air in, then put the bomz in and figure out how much off which ever intake pipe u are gona cut (you are gonna ahve to take an inch or so off one of them so you can connect the two) then get a connector and some clamps and connect the 2 intakes, then ya have a half metal half plastic cool air intake, i ahd mine like that b4 i put the supercharger on, and i loved it.

Okay, I might try that, the only thing is, the RKSport pipe is 3" and the Bomz was only 2.5". Do you think I should just pretty much put the Bomz into the RKSport intake, or what should I do about that?

you could either get a 3"-2.5" coupling, Most Autozones have those sitting on the shelf in their "tuner section" with all the neon lights and universal filters and crap, i picked up a black one for like 5-7 bux. and if i remmber correctly, the Rk intake flares out to 3" at the very end to fit in to the stock tubing so most of the RK plastic intake is either 2.75 or 2.5
