I'm looking to throw together my own exhaust.

Does anyone have any details on the parts required and any special details.

really?

a header. a cat. a resonator. a muffler. and a reputable exhaust shop, unless you have access to a bender and welder.

Cat-back section of pipe - custom tubes inc.
header muffler resonator - turbo tech racing

If you can weld your in great shape. you may need some hangers and misc bends if your header does not include a down pipe. If you cannot weld, do not even attempt to install a "pieced together" kit.

By parts, I meant the number of U bends etc.

I can not weld. I have had my fill of exhaust shops.
Unless the pre-made sections are within reason of welding my own sections I have no plans to buy
anything. (as in, I'm willing to spend money to save some time)

How better to lean how to weld an exhaust than by doing it?
Exhaust shop employee's are not always capable of quality work.

It's only welding after all.

the cat back portion of the exhaust will be the most difficult, the bend over the rear torsion bar can be a pain in the ass, and its worse with larger diameter pipe. As I mentioned CTI has the tube in 2.5 and 3" for very reasonable prices. I would argue in the long run it'll be cheaper than buying generic tube and trying to piece that together. I just hate to re-do things
