Ok gear heads, I got a good one, and by that I mean A matter of opinion on some and fact for others. So here it goes. How would you if you could get a pair of custom crafted cam's for your 97 2.4.
The only condition to this is you're not going to run boost, premium fuel fine
Must be capable of functioning as a back-up car
Compression can't decide either 10.5 or 11
That's all I can think of, fill in the blanks if you see fit, making a mobile lab while running at least 13's

Umm you can run 13's with W41 cams, or HO cams for that matter.

Aside from that, you can try your luck at tracking down some of those fancy rocket part hot cams or some 2.4 cam blanks...which im not even sure exist.

I'm not Quad 4 expert by any means, but 13's are possible with widely available HO cams, or the slightly harder to find W41's.

I should add, you really only need 160-170whp to crack off a 13.9xx, depending how well you can drive and how well you set up your car for drag racing.

Whats with people and wanting custom cams? Off the shelf stuff is more than sufficient 98% of builds here.

At least 13's faster is fine, I just can't be mixing 110 or better. Since every one says the same thing though I will just find some HO's thank you all again.
