I'm thinking of stopping the Cav and doing some other car b/c Ma keeps b**ching about me doing stuff to the Cav "even though it's not even paid off yet" (like that means jack****). A different car will get her to shut up about "screwing up the Cavalier" ... although it prolly would make her complain about having another car in the driveway (which would be bringing the count up to 5, lol).
Sounds like you need to move out if you moms keeps bitching about your modding or you should just stop and do it when you can later in life. Im going to be getting outta the modding scene soon. My car will still be here for a few more years but nothing new is going to be put on it other then the pro streets. After I get some money saved im trading the cav or selling it for a BMW M3 or a Caddy Escalade truck. Either way they both will be slammed the right way and rims, tinted windows and a system then they are done.

other than a stiff neck a day after the crash, i was ok. my cavalier has frame damage and a destroyed back. i took off all i can (rims, viper alarm w/ remote start, stereo)before sending it to the body shop but i still needed to leave all the modified parts on for insurance purposes. if you see my car in the junk yard, u can pull off some pretty nifty parts(intake, blue ceramic headers, kato front bumper, misc).

hey paul, hows it going, get those rims on yet?? i remember how excited you were when you picked them up from me that day. lol. my parents were freaking out when i bought this car, and then started to mod the hell out of it, the first thing they told me was, ITS A BRAND NEW CAR, Y ARE YOU DOING THIS TO IT???? all i said is "hey, im paying for the car, and the insurance, if i break it, i pay for it" and that shut them up real quick. b/c hell, if your paying for the car in every which way possible, and there not, then she really cant say what you can and cant do to the car. but, if shes paying for it someway, then you have to listen to her, b/c without her, no car. goodluck tho. since i told them that, they actually started to repect me with it, and they dont say anything to me about except the ocasional "your freaking nuts", but its okay. lol. i already have a new project car, a 04 malibu classic. soon it will have a Bodykit, rims, and a simple, yet effective sound system. so my wife can have some fun with it too. im just glad it has the ecotec motor in it. lol. take care guys!!

i couldn't have ripped off everything on my car. i had to keep it looking custom because i insured it as a custom car. ill get blue book value of my car + 4,000 dollars for the custom coverage according to my dad. i think an extra 4k dollars is better than 1k in after market parts.
Yea, I had them on for about 3 months or so. Pulled them off awhile ago for winter. I'm thinking about putting them back on tho b/c the BFG SR-4's on my steelies have terrible traction. Push the gas less than half-way, on dry un-salted road, and they spin and torque steer I dunno, might just deal w/ no traction so I don't have to clean the rims every day.
Hmm... I need a sig!
