ohh, the rods will be mine but the 10.1 compression/overbore will not be ideal for big boost.

why? the overbore decreases compression and besides it doesnt matter if you have high compression or not, it just means it takes LESS psi to get you the numbers u want. curt was running 15 on the stock 10:1 and did just fine... others have as well. you really should just stick to 10-15 man.

9:1 is ideal as far as i'm concerened and I'm def not going to make my cylinder walls thinner.

this really has nothing to do with anything but anything but last night at school we had a customer car, 97 cavy that had a clunking sound/abs light when turning. Got it onto the lift and the tire looked like it was nearly ready to fall off, like the lugnuts were just started on the studs and you were moving the tire around on them... the wheel bearing as sooo loose that everytime the vehicle would turn the reluctor wheel would move out of range of the wheel speed sensor and the cv shaft had a good inch and a half of looseness.

good thing they didnt snap off 4 of the 5 lug nuts and almost loose a wheel not that i would know anything about that.

I agree w/ the cylinder wall statement, but 9:1 is simply not going to provide enough overall power. For me anyway. Those of you that know my plans know exactly what I'm talking about. The dynamic compression ratio formula applies to 93 octane pump gasoline. Max boost on 10.0:1 is 14.5 psi, on 8.9:1 it's 18psi, 9.1:1 is 17 psi, if you'd like the formula please feel free to pm me and I'll be glad to share the information.

Being on call is cool . . . unless you get called in.

At least the overtime and on call pay is a nice bonus.

So . . . hmmm well I really don't have much to say.

The Nebraska Medical Center.

Last night was the first time I was called in ever and I have been there almost 6 years now.

Normally you get about $60 for just being on call Sat & Sun and it is easy money.

If you get called in you get 4 hours pay even if you only stay 4 minutes.

I had to stay 6 hours though so I will just get 6 hours of OT + my $60 on call pay.

The lady who was supposed to work had a headache, then somone took her blood pressure and it was really high so she went to the ER around 2 when her shift started.

They tried to call me at 2:30 but I was at my cousins house where there is no cell reception and they had the phone off the hood.

I did not get in till about 4 and they the lady says she is not waiting to be seen in ER since it has been two hours and they are busy down there.

So she asks me what to do and of course I am thinking stay so I can go home and get my 4 hours pay. I just asked her if she felt like staying for the rest of the shift and of course she waffled for a minute but finally decided to leave.

It works fine it was a bitch to get the remnants of the old wiper arms off but I managed to do that without breaking anything and put in it motor and all.

I have been trying to sell my original wiper motor on eBay with little success.

I have a bad cold and it is not cool at all.
