Not butthurt at all Brandon. Mainly because if you went and got a n/a dsm which is where a J starts out, you would have to spend quite a bit to come close. I spent a little under 3k for my car, then swapped the motor, yeah the blue car is long gone remember all that...The New Car. So now let's go down the list of what's CURRENTLY in my car...Turbo setup - about 2k, internals - 1k (for ease of calculations), head - 800, little odds and ends - 3k (on the high side but not really in the mood to get really depressed about how much I've dumped into a J). Grand total $6800 in mods so under 10 for the whole thing at this point. You keep thinking awd dsm's are the cat's ass and I'll keep proving you wrong .

Only in skunks world is ten thousand dollars less than four thousand..

And I didnt buy an N/A DSM, nor did AWD diamond stars come N/A.. ( with the exception of the old 91-93 Galant GSX)

95 Talon TSi AWD 3500$
EVOIIIGT 16G Turbo 250$
Walbro 190 FP 40$
SAFC 70$
Intercooler setup 250$

That I believe is a grand total of 4100 and technically less because I made a couple hundred off the stock intercooler/turbo setup.

Well as long as everyone agrees that if you want to go fast for cheap you buy an Acura and put honda Badges on it I guess we are all ok.

My cobalt got stuck tonight.... in my grandmother's drive way, lol.

My two oldest brothers were trying to push me out of the drive (we were leaving) and I had my foot on the brake the whole time they were pushing my uncle came out with a drink laughing his butt off.

Mind you the rest of my family all drives either jeep liberty (aunt) Jeep unlimited (twin brother) Ford Escape (older brother) and then me, lowered cobalt... lol.

You should have got one of those evo's or wrx's... you know those AWD cars that you have so much contempt for the people that buy them. I hear they get around good in the winter.

Just messin with ya steve

I'm not sayin 10 is less than 4 what I'm saying is take n/a for n/a and you're spending the same. I understand you can't get awd piece of sh*t n/a so now, add at least 2k to whatever price to make things comparable. One question though, you got a leash on that crank?

And I like my delusional world. It works great for me it's also the one where you got pissed on by a "show" car a while ago.

OMFG I cannot believe it... Someone cant make a valid point so they compare apples to oranges and add in a played out crankwalk joke, THE FUNNEY ENSUES!

Congratulations, you are the supreme Jbody master for beating me when you were running twice as much boost as I was, our motors ended up the same in the end anyway only differences I havent totalled my "Show car" out being a jackass.

Oh and how'd the motors end up the same way? Mine didn't blow up before I built it, I tore apart a perfectly good motor .

::Golf Clap?::

Anybody know where to find an LD9? Buddy of mine at work bought a 2002 Cavalier z24 from a girl here locally for $500 and the girl drove the car with a bad pump and fried the piston rings. Looking for an LD9 so we can build the old motor.

How did I lose the argument when I was mostly joking? I have an opinion about ALL japanese cars. I don't like them and will find fault with them no matter what. Yeah the J's have their own, but to me they are far less than sacrificing american jobs and the amercan economy to support the japanese economy.

Don't worry Brandon, maybe next year you'll be tall enough to ride the tilt a whirl at the county fair. So how many phone books do you sit on to be able to see over the steering wheel?

Oh Snap! I could not help but ROFL at that one. I can think of an equally good joke along those lines about you curt. I am not going to say what it is. I will let Brandon see what he can come up with.

at this point i doubt the mods even read this thread anymore. the only reason it got deleted before was because a few of the jbo 'gods' with big friends got involved.

so i guess... fight away LOL

Besides, who else in the region has this many posts?
