That happened to me when I had my first Z24...I had a crappy driving record and they wanted $600/month for full coverage, and they told me I should just sell the car...ha....i got a second job just to pay the insurance.

full coverage i was like wtf and they told my my sidekick was very unsafe to drive

My insurance is the cheapest it has ever been. With that said my Yamaha R1 alone is 854 a year for full coverage with 1 grand deductibles and I only have one ticket on my record, no accidents ever.
If I only had liability on the bike it would only be 97 bucks a year

My insurance is the cheapest it has ever been also. Keeping in mind that location does affect your rates. Thus why living in a small ass town helps you out.
Ive had a crappy driving record ever since I was 17 and got a reasonably quick car. Now I pay $74/month for full coverage on the Kia and Z24. That is through Progressive.
My wife and I are both 25 now. She has no tickets and no accidents on her record. I have one speeding ticket and no accidents.
1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited 154.00
1996 Ford Probe GT 85.00
2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 285.00
2002 Cheverolet Cavalier z24 190.00
Total policy price 714.00 for 6 months
The cavalier and evo have full coverage with $1000 deductibles. The Jeep and Probe only have state minimum liability.

Ya progressive is good! I had state farm and our old agent was good and helped us out alot. But then i moved and got a new one in the city and they wanted $91 for liability only and thru progressive i could get full coverage for 87 bux! And i have been in 4 accidents since i started driving and 2 or 3 tickets! soo i was like WTF and switched
