Hell I know the feeling. Just took on a second job to help fund my project. Between working two jobs and going to the gym, I barely have time to breathe let alone sleep.

Brad: Download Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free and one of my favorites.

Also IDK when you were wanting to scheduale a big spring meet but I am NOT going to be able to make it the weekend of May 15-16. Vanessa's brother Zach are getting married that weekend in MN.

oh wow... what a frickn weekend.

me and jay were trying to keep it quiet and debut it at a meet for everybody but we bought chris taetsch's purple w41 turboed 95 z24. we split the cost ($750) down the middle.

the deal is that jay is getting the shell and a few things, race tronix fuel pump, solid mounts, short throw etc. i get the drivetrain. (built w41 with flat top high compression wiseco forged pistons, rocket parts shot peened rods, and just a standard rebuild of the rest, new bearings, oil pump etc). we were also supposed to get an ho intake manifold, ho exhaust cam, a complete blown 00 ld9 and getrag trans, and a bunch of misc. parts but chris didnt have time to load it all up. he said he would ship the smaller things though.

car is a total POS on the exterior LOL the sun has not been nice as the clear on the entire upper sections has been completely faded away. its basically a 'flat' purple. other than that though its not a bad car. 115,000 original miles, interior is only missing the carpet and its actually pretty decent.

anyways, we drove all the way to wisconsin yesterday (mind you it does not look it but its really a 7 hour drive one way) in jay's cursed grand am to pick up the car. met up with chris etc, ironed out all the details and he tried to explain what the trans/clutch was doing so i could drive it. basically he claimed there was something up with the master cylinder not being able to to be bled so you had to rev match the car to get it into gear, couldnt down shift, and had to start the car in first car otherwise it wouldnt work. so, i drove it around the parking lot feeling confident i could limp it back home without problem.. boy was i wrong. fail.

car ran BEAUTIFULLY for the first 250 miles. then some problems started to come up. we obviously had to stop a few times to piss, get gas etc so that was un-avoidable. everytime i stopped the situation seemed to get worse. it got increasingly harder to get the car to start up in gear. the car basically had zero clutch at this point, you could start the car in 1st gear and it would lurch forward LOL. the clutch would just all of a sudden out of the blue start to chatter at around 70 mph shortly around the 300 mile mark. you could actually put the clutch to the floor and throttle the car and it would still move. this is extremely bad.

so, knowing full well this bastard would never make it the last 150 miles back to my house in salix, i got ahold of paul and we arranged to meet in worthington mn (at around 4am) to try and fix or tow it the 13 miles back to his house in sibley. well, we got lucky.... the car made it to worthington and thats all she wrote. we agreed to try and slowly try the 13 miles and we never even made it out of the parking lot. the clutch pedal would stay at the bottom of the floor and you couldnt even get the car into gear. not even manually. so... what'd we do? LMFAO we hooked it up to madness junior and towed it to pauls house

so, at pauls she sits. its really dis-appointing to me. i was looking so forward to getting it back to my house and starting to work on it. me and jay are planning on tracking it together until my dad and i get his new built LD9 together, then its going in the purple monster and becoming a total gutted track slut.

where does the drivetrain go? i dont know yet. id like to throw it in the black car for a couple years and have some fun. we'll see.

i only got to get on it once and it went through with it. the engine was breaking up extremely badly so every time you went into boost it was basically useless. but i did get it to haul ASS that one time. lol just ask jay, it backfired right by his ear. probably made him @!#$ his pants LOL but dear LORD it was amazing, i couldnt even get into the throttle all the way and it felt WAY faster than any m45 car ive driven (sorry wade).

and yes, the w41 sounds like pure rumbling sex at idle. lopes like an son of a bitch when cold. you can actually SEE it in the tach, bounces from like 1200 to 1300.

anyways, me and jay were up well over 24 hours straight and way tired. hes actually on his way back home (another 400 f'ing miles away, jay you are a god, i dont know how you do it man) right now. i slept for 5 hours and woke up groggy and un-rested. FML.

well i stoped in sfux im still here @ 551pm. i seriously think i pulled an abominal muscle pulling on the cav when i was tieing it up. Brad i thought the getrag was going in the purple people eate? other then the clutch and the ten gagillion miles i drove and still have to drive i had a good time.

Sounds like quite the adventure.
I was so freakin dead when Paul called me at 4 something in the morning wanting to know if I knew Jay's number.

I cant wait to see this bitch in action. I want to hear it.

PS: We really need to get something planned for sure on this Meet coming up in May.

I'm just happy to see it go to someone that will do something with it.
I was inches away from ripping the engine out and scraping the rest.

when I get time Ill load the "intake and Throttle body with flange" and cam in a box and see what shipping will be.

OR if you guys go to the bash, and give me more then a week ahead of time to get sh!t ready...

windage trays... have to look for them too.
lol

Hex's.. got some of them too.

lmao chris... yeah sorry about the short notice.

we drove around a bunch of places trying to find some mobil 1 oil as something was up with the PCV port on the timing chain housing. is there supposed to be a hose or something there? it was just spewing oil out like crazy. what really sucks is after we got it to pauls i found the damn new quart of mobil 1 in the back seat you bastard! LMAO we even 'taped' a pop bottle over the vent to try and capture at least some of the spewing oil. didnt really work though.

sucks but we had to put some conventional in to top it off. i really didnt want to do that but we had no choice.

and whats up with the two map sensors? is the 2 bar there for the 2 bar prom tune then? so like a swap over type deal with the flip of a electrical plug? why were you not using that to begin with? do you know why it breaks up so badly? like i said i couldnt even go into boost before it would shutter. almost like it was detonating so bad it would nose over. either that or like it was getting spark blow-out... something. idk, i know nothing about turbos unfortunately.

how much boost does it even see when its good? most i could ever get was like 4psi i think, and that was half throttle.

we didnt really 'plug' it persay, we put a pop bottle over the vent to capture the oil that came out. we even popped a hole in it so it could still breathe.

i spose an actual catch can is in order. which is fine, no biggie.

jay has a wideband he wanted me to install anyway so were good there.
