well guys its official, the madness is dead. it wont go into gear properly and the clutch wont work right so shes done.

good news is paul wants to re-build way better so yeah!

-new total seal rings with the cylinders actually finish honed for them this time
-coated pistons
-decked head .010 and a thinner cometic .030 head gasket for more compression
-coated 1mm oversized valves
-clevite 77 main and rod bearings
-arp main and head studs

i do believe with all that and a bit more weight reduction it could finally hit 12's on the motor.

The best time I got was 16.0 @ 85 with a 2.4 60ft. My strut mounts are shot, and I have a broken motor mount. I'm not complaining though, because my car is basically stock and was still faster than that silver RSX even with all the broken stuff.

Wade, Mike ran a 14.4 I think, before having it tuned a little bit, but it definitely has 13's in it for sure.

I think Pauls best was a 13.5, I took video, but my recorder isn't that great. I'll post the vid's as soon as I finish uploading them.

I already know I am working Saturday the 4th from 10am-7pm as a manager at Dominos. I could possibly request Sunday off but I dont want really want to. (I just asked for more hours so I would be a real tool if I requested a bunch of time off after they give them to me.) Or you could just do a cookout/photoshoot Saturday during the day and I would just miss out on that and still be able to join for the Saturday evening fun. If we did that I could still work Sunday evening.

FYI I now work as a shift manager, CSR/pizza maker, and a delivery driver at Dominos. However I will mainly be delivering which with tips pays by far the best out of the three so I am really excited about that.

I'm down for that Brad. You know I'm always down for a meet. Plus it would be nice to get some work done to some of these cars. They have been neglected lately.

Wade.....I need that Bill Of Sale.

I see it like this, the price of that motor was an amazing deal for what I got. The Probe I actually helped a friend of mine purchase, because he currently drives an 89 Toyota pickup truck with no brakes that dies at every red light/stop sign.

Oh and Wade, it's almost ready for the road already. Just need to get the new windshield installed, and get it registered.
