For those not familar with Taste Of Madison:

Quote:

The Taste of Madison is the flagship event of Madison Festivals, Inc. Held each year over Labor Day weekend on Madison’s famed Capitol Square, the event showcases more than 60 local restaurants, 16 beverage stands and 4 entertainment stages.

The 2005 Taste of Madison is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 3rd and 4th. The event is scheduled from 2:30 pm to 8 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

Madison Festivals, Inc. is pleased to announce that the 2005 Taste of Madison will feature exclusively the products of Madison area’s own Capital Brewery. In addition to the award-winning Wisconsin Amber and Oktoberfest beers, Capital Brewery is introducing an exciting new brand of beer at this year’s event. This new product, brewed with ingredients grown here in Wisconsin, is designed to compliment the style of traditional National Brands for the Craft Beer Consumer.

And Tyler, yes it is around the Capitol building.

well it was a good time. i got there at around 3. missed planet of 9 and wheelie bar (played instead of cobz web). All the bands were really good. Silvertide by far was the best of the day. Lead singer went all through the crowd and even had some old fat black lady grind on him.

Also, I found out why they moved the JJO stage from Washington Street to Martin Luther King Blvd (i think that was the street). Instead of the breakapart stage with a canopy tent on it like they have had in past years, this year they had a regular stage set up. Also the street it's on is wider and they were able to push the stage farther back on the street. The sound was nice and loud too!

Still debating on going back tomorrow. Probably won't just due to trying to save myself from having to gas up again.
