just think if we (well when i had my z24) did half the motor mods to cars like brian has now and you guys are looking into,, how fast they would be? things are more expensive(price of car, mods, gas, insurance maybe), but bolt up a intake, t/b, cam(almost said cams/used to saying that haha), full exhuast and a minor tune to a ls1= big power.

good luck non the less. I have thought about buying it, but that wouldnt be a good idea for me.I would rather s/c -start modding the clean cav i have now and work with a new platform(ecotec), i had my fun with the 2.4l and seen the ins and outs of modifing it. But trust me, i have thought about it, contemplated the idea and been reminissing about the good ol days of the s/c whine.

My opinions are yes the car is quick, has close to, if not 5k$ alone in mods and is a 2k2. But it shows its signs of wear(obvioulsy any car would with that mileage) and some stuff needs to be cleaned up(wires running under floor mat). None the less, it is built up /modded the right way and other s/c'd j bodys should follow the bolt on process you did chris with the parts, and tune as it is working/worked for you and reliabile to say the least.

side note- when i get down there come summer, me and my bro can show you boys the pushrod shuffle in his dsm . (brian will remember that with scott addy)

Re: 2002 Z24

LOL i forgot to take the wires out.

it was a last min N20 job... but @!#$, it worked!

i have the kick panel to fix the rust spot, and when i painted that, the rear bumper was going to get fixed.

hmmm

the plain with the LSX

Headers

exhaust

and in keeping with how i moded my Z24, it will be stock 04 GTO looking tips.. just bigger.

then its off to induction.

Mangacharger.... need i say more?

But i have never gone with what people tell me i should do....
