clutch not engageing.blah

off topic, yes.
but i need help asap.
basically did a clutch swap on a 96 Z
stage 1 ebay crap
when i start the car and push the clutch down it dosent engage and it grinds in gear.
any possible answers?
were bleeding the line like crazy and it dosent seem to be helping

Have you tried pumping the pedal like crazy to build up pressure and see if that helps yet?

My sunbird did that when I replaced the clutch..... I had to pump the crap out of it, bleed it a little, pump the crap out of it again, bleed it again, and so on until it was drivable than It was still really pissy until I put about 15 miles on it and it slowly got better....

And you mean disengaging not engaging btw.

Other than the TOB sticking or the springs in the pressure plate being bad.... IDK

no the clutch is not disengaging we bleed the thing like 50 times and started the car in 1st gear and the car slowly rolled so the clutch is definitly not disengaging and there is no air in the line could it be a master cylinder

If it was OK BEFORE you did the clutch.... I would say its air in the line\slave, or the slave its self....

nope, slave was good
it was master cylinder.
got it up and running, just in case anyone else ever has the same problem.

i have the same prob. i doubt its my master tho cuz the only thing i touched was my slave. but we will see today

^^^^ All you have to do is look at it wrong...

Its funny how crap can go bad like that...... glad to hear its fixed though/
