The repel has the rain-x repellent stuff on the wiper blade itself where as the latitude is just a very nice wiper no repellent.. I think it's more a marketing thing which it worked got me to buy them but hey they do a very fine job.

How good do they work in the winter?

the problem with wiper blades in the winter, is that none are made for ice, so really, you need to scrape your entire windshild, i started doing that this last winter, its cold as fubar out there, but my current lattitudes have lasted me over a year no, where as before i would need to replace them at least once during the winter. but otherwise for rain, mist and light snow they work amazing ly, and they also do well with the bugs, not too much smearing of guts everywhere. by far my favorite wipers

Believe it or not they do pretty nice in the winter.. I think it has something to do with the built in repel stuff and it keeps the ice from sticking to the window i still had ice but it flaked off with very little effort. Now I believe the repelant wears off over time cause they dont seem as effective in the rain as there were new but they are still very nice.
