Yeah, it was just sitting behind my shop.
I think I have all the spiders out of it now.
It's getting it's clutch checked out next week.

Well, my new hood from Jason at A Plus looks aw some and fits great.
And the bad news for me, I have to pull out my roll bar to put my new 6X9's in.

With that hood I'd put it back in the weeds...
So, is it going to be made fast? or riced out more?

OK ,Taetsch to answer your questions.
There are performance upgrades in the future, and no it won't be anything crazy, I like my A/C, power steering and ect.
And a 16 sec. car, Well since I don't race, I can live with that.
The car is getting repainted too. You have to realize I painted it 12 years ago. So it's not "RICE" it's "RETRO".
Just remember, Big wing on the back that's at least 50hp, and the hood , well that's off the scale.
My shops whole purpose is to make it pretty ,to catch your eye. So instead of sponsoring someone else this year I am fixing my own car. And yes, it's getting a nice heavy stereo too.
Rice is nice.
If your happy with 16 seconds.... why put a single performance part on the car?
Im not a fan of the hood either but it looked good for my tastes before it was on there.... to each there own... it's just that you gotta remember that most of us around here are performance oriented so your gunna get smart ass remarks like that...

I hear what you are saying. And honestly I want it faster then 16secs.
The hood ,well, I am going to repaint the car ,if it is still out of place I will change it. I do admit the wing is very 90's.
The car is getting dynoed the end of next week, so I can get before and after numbers.
There are some mild mods done to the engine and trans. now.
Rice is nice.

Everyone thinks my engine and trans are bone stock.
So anyway we are fixing the clutch this weekend.
The end of this month its getting repainted to something more modern.
I have ordered front and rear brake kits from SSBC.(still not sure what rims yet)
There is a lot more planed for winter on it, I would like to drive it this summer before I tear it apart again.
So, we can race?!

Well, thanks to my nice clutch, I get to rebuild my engine. I didn't want to do that this year but it's gotta happen sooner or later.
As for the engine it's self. I can't start on it untill the end of August.
So you guys want performance YOU GOT IT.
I am still going to paint it this month though.
Nothing says it can't still look nice while having high perf. engine.
Here is some prof that it is getting done.
