Just a short plug for Craig at RSM he is the man you want to talk to about anything performance related for your whip.I ordered my supercharger kit from RSM and Craig took the time to make sure the kit would be right for my car and my needs. He deals with you one to one and works very hard for his customer. If you are looking for a company and some one that is honest and knowledgeable Talk to Craig at RSM Racing.

I am sure he would be helpful.......so would I if you were about to pay $7000 for something that should be like $3000. I am not trying to knock you or him just damn those kits are expensive, and you know what I am saying about the customer service thing. Go there and buy a $20 mount and see how servicey they'll be

I'll take care of you just the same. 20 bucks...10000...or even Zero!

I will because I hope that you come back and buy other products from me in the future.

Hell, even if you come by and buy nothing....I will treat you with respect. Because I believe in comon courtesy and i also hope you will come back later some day with cash. Or maybe tell a friend that I am a courteous person. Come by this Saturday, I'll give you the tour. You don't need to buy anything. I won't hold your negative words against you.

I wonder why you assume that I would treat you poorly? Have I? What makes you think that I would treat with disrespect? I would really like to know.

And by the way, have you ever priced a Vortech blower. Why not do that and tell me I should sell these for 3. You may be a little misguided. The retail price originally offered for the GM kit was far more than 3000. In fact GM dealer cost was 5000 with retail pricing at 7000 before tax. Believe it or not, a realistic price for a fully developed supercharger kit. GM is simply flogging it off because they didn't sell at all. You will see that these have been discontinued. Most likely never to return. Why...because J body owners believe they are being ripped off. When they are not. Supercharger kits do cost this much. GM is the worlds largest company. They can afford to write loses off like this. We certainly cannot. I wish we could. We would be the kings of the GM after market and everyone else would be the bad guy.

I'll admit I am a little testy about your comments. Maybe because I am so tired. Tired because I stayed three hours late on a Friday night so a customer could pick up his car. He bought lowering springs from me. Something we make very little on. I didn't get paid any extra. I just knew he was excited to get his ride back. He treats me with respect and courtesy. I will do the same for him.

In the end, I need to pay my rent too. Making a little coin isn't a crime.

I'm in this business because I am an enthusiast just like everyone on this site. It really doesn't pay...I'm just living out my dream. I consider myself very lucky to have this chance.

So please. I invite you to come in or even just call me. I will answer questions or even just shoot the sh&^ about cars. Cause that's what I love to do. If I didn't, I'd still be making a fortune in insurance instead of struggling to make ends meet.

Chris,
Please forgive me for this rant. I appreciate your kind words. You are a true gentleman.

Plus the Install if you can not do that yourself.

Just wait till the Ecotec Kit comes out (If it ever does). That kit is going to be around $8000-$10000 I bet, because being that more stuff is coming with it.

I have to speak up for Craig here too. I went to RSM to pick up Dan Aversa's hood that Craig was storing at the shop for him. He was well aware that i was buying nothing from RSM, yet he still took me for the tour of the shop and we talked about cars for about an hour or so.

So I went there, spent absolutly nothing on RSM products, and I stil got treated better than anywhere ive ever acually bought parts from.

How's that for being "servicey"?

I will also have to give craig and the rest of the rsm crew 2 thumbs up...... nothing but praise from me

When I went in last spring to pick up a throttle body and intake manifold that answered all my questions and even let me switch it in the parking lot... to avoid paying the core, driving back home 2 hrs, switching it, then driving down to return it and back home again.

Awesome for sure which will keep me going back

Pass the J Craig would not say this.....But I will maybe your the kind of guy that we so often have the misfortune to have to deal with. You know the type, knows it all but will not or can not give you a straight answer.Wants to only to push you to buy his product even if it is in no way the right part or application for your project. The type that sling dirt with out any facts to base it on.The type that has no interest in doing that little something more that makes people want to come back. You need to to go down to RSM and check your attitude at the door.I think even you will see that Craig Lewis is the most down to earth sincere guys you will ever have the pleasure to meet. As for the cost of the kit I am not just buying the kit. I am paying for the knowledge that went into the design of the supercharger kit and the on going support from the staff at RSM racing. The thing is Craig has my money if that was all he gave a damn about he would not have taken any other calls or emails from me. He often has to call me two or more hours after the end of his day or take time from his weekend to talk to me.{ I live in Winnipeg two hour time difference.} Craig gives his best Not because I have spent over $ 20.00 it is just the way he is with every one.
And that makes him the type the rest of us want to tell others about.
Cheers and Beers
Chris Orr.

Craig was nice enough to say late once on a Friday for something a simple as putting bushings in my control arms so i could get home and finish my car.
I didn't need my car back I had another one to use,but he made sure it was taken care of just so that it would be done and i thank him very much for that.
@!#$ the first time I went to RSM was because I just had a 10,000 motor job done some where else and there was a stupid noise coming out of the motor, it was just a timing tensioner problem, but even though I was not there to buy anything I just needed a straight answer from somebody he had his guys come out check the car and find the problem and charged me nothing.
As far as im concern thats called good customer relations.
So this spring im redoing my head again and he's going to be the one to get it.
Thanks for the previous help Craig

sdsgt,

I don't have the specks handy. I'll ask when I get into the shop.

Nathan had a history of beiing very hard on motors. This one was built to take the abuse.

KMD,

Our blowers kit for the 2.4 is 3900. 15% off until the end of the month. We need the car for three days.

That's 4900 CDN. Minus 15%.

Nik's/Nathan's motor.
Stage 3 head.
JE forged pistons with chromoly rings.
APR bottom end.
Bored 60 over.
Balanced.

I had good dealings with RSM Racing until my 59mm T/B...

My first one had leaks all over then the second one gets an EGR code cause the vaccum holes don't line up... after hundreds of dollars on parts RSM racing told me to replace cause I broke them, many calls and emails and I am still running the second T/B with the same problem still....

I just seem to get pushed to the side...

And I am not the only one to have this problem my brother has the same EGR problem I have!!!

Baretta ss,

I have asked the guys in the shop about your case. It's our opinion that the throttle body was damaged during install. With both of you having the same problems, I suspect the same mistakes were made. We have damaged a few of those over time. During installation, we have leaned over and supported some our weight on the nose of the TB. This will compromise the sleeve, leaving a vacuum leak.

We are prepared to help. I have those throttle bodies in stock, I will offer a discount for you. If you would like to discuss futher, we can do this in person.
