Hey what happened did u give up the turbo project?
Re: 3rd gen part out
Tuesday, February 22, 2005 10:16 AM
Bro - why do you want so much for the mani? It's a repaired unit... I can get a new one from brian for like $320 CAD with a guarantee...

And what's with the price on the Cartech? Is it brand new? Is it billet? Is it the latest model? If not then I'm sorry it's not worth anywhere near that price.

Good luck selling - sad to see you give up tho.

And what is with the price of the hood? A NEW one from racetech is between $500-$550!!

Re: 3rd gen part out

i just bought the tail lights off the kid n he washed the lights day i went to pick them up ... so they were wet n now one of the left lens have mositure in it...... im in the hole 200 bucks now !!
Re: 3rd gen part out

Gave up on the turbo project because my tranny is starting to slip.. I can only image how much longer it would last under boost. Looking to buy something 5 speed. Still gonna keep the car though

The hood would ideally be better for someone with a black car.A new hood from racetech will require body work to get it perfect. Go buy one and get it painted and then tell me how much it cost you...GIMP!

All prices are negotiable by the way!!!!

THE REASON WHY THEY HAVE MOISTURE IN THEM IS BECAUSE THERE IS WATER IN THEM. HOW DO I KNOW YOU DIDN'T FU(K THEM UP PUTTING THEM ON?

yah there is water in them CUZ U washed them......... n how would i get water in them installin them in my garage n the lens are TWO parts ... where the blub goes n the surroundin part. ..... im done with u thats for sure!! if u were smart about it ud just take them back like any other person would. oh well thats all i gotta say
Re: 3rd gen part out
Tuesday, February 22, 2005 2:12 PM
honestly... you just said there was water in them, that is why they are fogging up!! I told you to dry them out THOUROUGHLY before you installed them. IF they still fog up after that then it was no fault of mine. You could have dropped them for all I know. I have heard of people drilling a small hole in the bottom to the the moisture out.

Ask yourself this question... why would I take them back? They were in good condition when I gave them to you. How the hell am I supposed to sell these now if I did take them back? Your immaturity has made me look bad as a result of all this.

i thought since u were sellin stuff on here its all good n i shouldnt worry about anythin.... well maybe after u washed them u should have dried them.... its also my fault just by lookin at one lens that nite.... n yah i told u in every email so far i DRIED them with a hair dryer BEFORE i put them on .... oh well im done with this i got screwed n theres nothin i can do about it .... hope u sell the rest of ur stuff ....

That shows maturity. I ask a question and you call me a gimp. Way to go buddy. Seriously though, why would someone pay MORE for a hood that has already been used, even if it was prepped? From what i have seen, ractech hoods fitment is pretty damn close, so all you gotta do is prime and paint it, little fixes here and there to make it fit PERFECTLY, but thats about it. Plus if the persons car isnt black, they still have to sand, prime and paint it dont they?

*wonders if he will get a mature response...*
