17" Eagles for sale
Monday, March 21, 2005 8:38 PM
OK, I am going to try this again, I am selling my 17" Eagle Alloys #192 in polished chrome, they are 5x100 bolt pattern, 7" wide and not sure of the offset but definetly don't stick out. One has some minor curb rash.
Looking for $800 obo with tires which are 2 Bridgestone Potenza RE 950's on the front, which have about 90% of thread left as bf who works at tire shop has checked them and 2 Nankang tires on the back, with about 40% left on them. The tires are sized 205/40/17.

I am willing to part them out so $500 (not negoitable) for rims without tires and the two fronts are also for sale for $150 each (might let go for $100 each).

I am located in Kingston.
Reason for selling: Too small, buying larger rims.
Email if interested.

Yup. I'll give $400. And it's not negotiable either.

That's what I've been offering for the non-curb-rashed wheels so think of it as a deal!

heh.

Actually, I believe they're a 38 mm offset so I'm not terribly interested anyway. And being polished, they'd be much better used as someone's summer wheels than as my winters.

Tires are worth $400 for the front two bare minimum new, and they only have about 300-500 kms on them. When she got them they still had the stickers on them, but bought off a guy who rolled around his block once wit them, and needed to pay OSAP back, and had to sell everythin he could.... She's asking $150 obo MAYBE willing to go as low as $100 per tire.. which is still a good deal....However, this site is so full of low ballers, and hagglers ... its unbelievable... If you KNEW how to read... you would have seen....

"I am willing to part them out so $500 (not negoitable) for rims without tires and the two fronts are also for sale for $150 each (might let go for $100 each). "

From what I have ever heard or understood about the words, "not negoitable" means there is NO, NONE, ZIP, ZILTCH, NADA movement on the price, and the deal listed..
So being a dick head, and offering $400, because "they're a 38 mm offset so I'm not terribly interested anyway" type of comments aren't needed. If you believe that to be the offset, which it is, then don't post, and don't offer stupid amounts because you think she's a girl, that she'll just jump on it because its "an offer" Seriously... READ BEFORE YOU POST... And smart ass comments should no longer apply..

You're going to have better luck selling the tires on a honda board or something. Nobody who knows anything about proper tire sizing would buy those for a j.

whats wrong with the size? how come it wont fit a j? it looks pretty good to me, then again i dont know much about tire sizing.

The tire height is WAY too small for a j-body. They'll look stupid, hurt your gas mileage, and throw off your speedometer and odometer by nearly 6%.

Other than that though, they're just peachy. heheheh.

Re: 17" Eagles for sale

Yep its an inch and a half shorter then z24 stock height... So it will throw out ur speedo by 3km's an hour.. If your speedo says 60, your actually goin 63.6... And your revs per mile are up 50 more rev's then normal. However wheels are being parted out if wanted.. so if your not intrested in both, thats fine.. and if your intrested in both, thats fine too...

Just incase anyone was not aware, the word about tires and wheels, and any other object can be spread... Example - I work with a buddy who has 17's on his car, but doesn't have the internet. However I know he is lookin for 2 new tires because he did too many burnouts last summer and they are cooked. His tire size is 205 40 17... Hmm I'll have to let him know about these and see if he is intrested. So it doesn't neccisarly have to be for a "ghey J" body..... Could be for a friend, or relative, whatever the case may be. So "You're going to have better luck selling the tires on a honda board or something. Nobody who knows anything about proper tire sizing would buy those for a j" .... That might be true, but the more you can post it them up for sale, the more the word gets spread, and the sale made. Thats called word of mouth. So if someone posted that they ARE intrested in them for a crap-a-lier or sunflower, then you could mention to them a bettter size, and just buyin the wheels, without tires would be wise. Thats helpful.... and informative... instead of smart ass comments, which I always find never get anywhere....

It wasn't a smart ass comment, it was a friendly, meant to be helpful comment to maybe help you sell your stuff quicker...

Lol.... anyways... Lets start this over then.. lol

17 inch tires and wheels for sale, tires are 205 40 17.... thats what they are, thats how they come, don't like, or want that size, wheels can be seperated...$500 NOT NEGOITABLE, will seperate, which means the tires from the rims, and sell each seperatly.... So if any of the above actaully applys, post, otherwise, no need to lowball or post up.. "well i don't really want them, so how's $400" lol... OH sooooo sorry to inconvience you ..... lol.. get real.. 500 non neg... or shut ur mouth and play by the rules...

Bump for cavy chicks sale....

-Oh also she's the g/f not a friend.

G/F or friend, you are ruining what would be a sale for her. I suggest you go to the "Old POS trucks that try to be showtrucks" forum and be a bitch there, maybe they will accept your pissy attitude, but not here.

Also.. its not a show truck, just because I have a few trophies here and there, nor did I ever say it was. Its a daily driver, and just gives me something to build during the winter months, its a hobby, I find it more intresteding then bolting on a set of wheels and a bodykit. Whatever turns your crank I guess....... Anyways I have to go look for that POS wanna be show truck forum now... See ya.

Fine then. Let's play by the rules. For sale ads are not allowed.
