Anybody else interested in the Granava Coils GP?
Tuesday, March 22, 2005 2:23 PM
Just wondering if anybody else is interested in the GP on the Gravana Full Coil-overs going on right now. I have posted some info in the thread in the GP forum on what the border costs are gonna be coming in at.

We should get a few people together and find a friend across the border..

Wow, not a bad price at all. I've heard the ride is kinda stiff. Do you know anybody that has them on a J that would take me for a ride?

You ever thought of trying to sell Gravana products in Canada? I know Jim is working on getting a Canadian distributer, maybe you could work soemthing out..?

I have CG's and koni's ... and anyone who talked to me when i first got them will tell you i was so upset with stiffness... i couldnt stand it.. but it really improves the performance.. so as long as you dont have any spoiled pricesses in the car who cant stand a bit of shaking

good luck

I have an account with Jim.

Lemme give him a call tomorrow for you guys interested in his coilovers. I just don't want to rain in on his parade for his new coilovers, but if I get the go ahead to get some of these into Canada for you guys I will do so.

Make sure you get USPS to deliver your suspension or anything you order from the U.S. From my own experience its been amazing without any duty fees or even taxes. Good luck . Thanks

Ive already asked Jim about that. Unfortunatly he only ships UPS. Your right, I had my springs delivered with USPS and didn't have to pay a penny!

You could always find some shmuck in Michigan to have them delivered to, drive over, install them, and drive back...

I would advise against this....they are really cracking down on this kind of activity. Someone from the JCO was tagged already for trying this.

All my pricing is more or less hedged against the US prices, so you won't save much at all by buying from the US. After driving all the way to Michigan and back, paying bridge tolls....I could probably ship it for cheaper

All that being said, It appears Jim's ISP has blackflagged my hosting company for SPAM, so I will have to get a hold of him via telephone Monday or Tuesday. I know I have received SPAM myself from my own hosting company, so I dont blame them for doing so. I just setup my filters to get rid of the crap

Noticing a clean body kit on a dirty car is a bit different than noticing different struts on a car...

Yeah that $2.50 for tolls gets expensive.

I've done it numerous times and never had a problem.

Right E ??

Just don't let the back of the car fall on your head... might mess up your hair...

Apparently you missed the part about driving to Michigan and back.....add about $50-$60 (depending on how one drives) given current gas prices to whatever you are paying for your parts.

Then again Steve, you seem to have no problem with not paying money to ppl. I think it only took me several PM's over a course of 1 month to get my money from you. This after you told me "the cheque was in the mail" on more than 1 occasion. I wasn't ever going to bring this up publically, but you keep being a smartass and pushing me. I warned you the first time you posted a smartass comment in one of my GP threads. I don't pay money out of my own pocket for individuals to add crap and try to start something in one of my GP threads.

Wow Scott and here I thought you were a grown up ?

Yeah my bad on the $20 I owed you I know you needed it more than I did.
And for the record I did appoligize but apprently that's not good enough.

I never brought up all those times where you started crap on the JCO.

Maybe i should go and get those threads out of the archives.
Oh wait I'm bigger than that.

Ian & I were just joking around anyways I guess i should have know you can't take a joke.

You are an accountant aren't you. They seem to be a little up tight.

See you at the bash.
Have a good one.

Steve,

I gave you a chance, but you kept pushing. Sorry Im human, I only can take so much. Apologies are worthless, if they are merely words. The way you continue to somehow show up and make smartass remarks to posts that I make, does not make me think otherwise.

As for the dollar amount ($25 actually). Its irrelevant. Money is money, and FYI....I was not working at the time, and every penny counts at Christmas. I mean, lets also add up the cost of me driving to the post office to check my PO Box every time you said you send out the cheque (over the course of the month).

As for starting crap on the JCO? haha....you would think I would be banned from the website if I was always trying to start crap "all the time", right? I was banned once, by mistake, and that was all rectified since it was misunderstanding by the person who banned me. But that is mine and that person's business only.

Jokes?....coming into a GP thread that I PAID money for out of my own pocket and making a post indirectly saying that the prices are high (when they arent!) isnt much of a joke to me. Im sure others would agree with me. Next time you have a smartass comment about pricing, make it in your own post, not one that I paid for.
