heh. Honestly... there's just nothing I need right now so I didn't look into running one.

And I just did the B&M shifter one in the winter, which was sort of "this Spring's" gp for me.

Is there anything people really need right now?

Didn't White_ZZZzzzzzzzzzz just run one for RK Sport stuff or is that one still going?

I'll make some calls and see if I can set anything up. I figured I'd filled all the demand for suspension stuff last year but there may be a whole new group of people looking for things.

I'll make some calls on Monday and see what I can do.

The only company that could conceivably help with a boost GP would be RSM and I don't think we'll find 5 - 10 people all looking to spend $4k+ right now. That's one of those things each person just does when they can afford it and even knocking half a grand off won't make a bunch of people jump up to the plate.

Same goes for turbo kits. I could probably get the hookups for a 2.2L OHV turbo setup... but there's just no group of people looking to spend that much cash on them.

I'll look into whether I can do another suspension GP and see what comes of it.

Guys / Gals, (gotta be politically correct )

Im running a special right now on TEIN Springs and Coilovers. The price on the coilovers is maybe $50-100 more than what you would pay or a set of good quality struts and springs, but you get height adjustability rather than dampening adjustability. When I had my Koni' s on my Z24, I never touched the dampening....but I had the Reds, so having the yellows, it might be less of a hassle to adjust them.

Suspension is all about personal preference, but if you are interested, check the website out and let me know

Also, if you have questions, please email me using the email on my website (right at the bottom!). Being that I do not have a premium membership yet, I am very limited to what I can talk about on the forums.

I would LOVE to ride in a J with the tien setup to see if i like the ride or not. Does anybody know anybody in southern Ontario with the Tien full coils?

I'll second and third... wait.. fourth that one.... but i'll only buy one set ... maybe 2 my cousin just got a 99 SFGT

if you were to get the D-specs do you think you can get springs to go with that as well? like prokit/ sportlines or tein spring?

the tein full coil overs would be cool too

good luck!! for all of us

The tein's are kinda tempting, but I already have springs. I can always try and sell those, but then its a debate between adjustability vs comfort. My car's a daily driver, I don't know if I really want coilovers...

When you price it out though, going with Scott's sale, its only $40+tax extra to get the coilovers compared to what I'd end up paying for springs and d-specs together.

I'm still waiting for insurance to let me know if I can lower or not...

I have a set of Tein coilovers coming in for myself (sorry not a Jbody ) I will let everyone know how they are once installed. They're slightly different being that they are the Super Streets which are not available yet for the J-body. But the spring rates are 280lb/in all around.

My insurance company knows full well that I have them and they are going to be installed. I was told as long as I dont "slam" the car while driving, that everything should be ok. But that is my insurance company and it should not be taken as law.

Just an FYI before anyone asks....I will not disclose who my insurance is with for a variety of reasons....Sorry

I need to do brakes soon, so that would work too. Hell, suspension AND brakes would be great.

Ok, I'm looking into doing the same sort of suspension GP I did last year. I may have prices by the end of the week and if they're good, I'll run with it.

Koni, Eibach, Ground Control.

No promises or anything. It all comes down to what sort of deals I can get for you.

no chance for D-spec or the Tein Basics?

just wondering thats all

And thanks for doing this for us.... i'm sure i can speak for everyone that is looking to buy suspension this year.

I didn't even think to ask. I'll find out next time I call whether they deal in Tein parts.
