Want Deal On A Tow Or Flatbed Trailer
Saturday, April 02, 2005 12:12 PM
Hello

I will be sending my car to get painted very very soon.. Now I am gone on weekends so I need to get my car towed on the weekend of April 9th (probably Sunday) if not that weekend then the weekend after that (or maybe even that week, but I will not be around)..

It's kinda low, but not too too low I don't think. I am pretty sure a tow truck will get under it.. Or maybe someone can flatbed it.. I am looking just to get my car up to the Port Hope Area from Whitby..

If you have a flatbed then that would work to, I can take it up myself not a problem.. I have a vehicle to pull it.. So tow truck or trailer is fine.. Anyone that can maybe do this for a decent deal, like for a 6 pack or money whatever it would be nice. A better deal then the tow truck company..

Anyone that can help me that would be great.. If you can just post here or give me a call at 905-999-0448 (my cell.. my name is Jonathan)...

Thanks alot guys.

Sorry.. That's what I meant to type.. I don't know why I put 6 lol... That's only like $12 worth lol.. I dunno what I was typing that for. Yeah I mean I don't mind getting a case or something.. I am not hard up for cash that isn't the thing.. I can pay for a full tow if I really wanted to.. But I mean why spend more money on something when I can spend less on the same things... If I have to then I willl.. I have a good enough paying job now where I can afford to pay the price if I need to.. But I'd rather use the money else where

Go to U-Haul and rent a car dolly for like $20 bucks.....

Oh ya I forgot all about U-Haul didn't even think about them.. Thanks for reminding me about them.. I will probably get a flabed I think, cause I think the rear end of my car will be to low with a dolly and bumps..

But we will see maybe it won't.. Thanks for the suggestion...

Well I just checked that out.. It's gonna cost me $50+tax for a flatbed and $40+tax for a dolly...

I was gonan see if I can get away with doing this for like $20-30 as most tow truck drivers will.. I had one guy tow me from Diza Racing in Toronto to Whitby for $20...

I will call the tow truck companies and find out how much it's gonna cost to have it towed through them.. And if no one can help me who is making money on the side, then I will just get the flatbed trailer..

Thats a hella long tow my friend. For a tow truck to do it on the side, you probably looking at over $100 easy. Probably quite a bit more....

I'd just rent the flatbed.

Yeah I will probably end up doing that.. 45mins - 1hr is a long drive for a tow truck.. So yea it would probably cost me a bit to get it towed.. So it will probably end up being way cheaper just to rent the flatbed.. I am sure I will probably go that way..

I'd rather spend an extra $10 and know that my car is fully off the ground.. So the back end doesn't bounce on me and smack my back ground effects..

Thanks for the help man.

flatbed it

but you may be required to return it to the place you got it from as its usually their own equipment so keep in mind you may be making a return trip to bring it back
