i could be wrong, but i dont think t.o boyz ever made an intake for the 2.2's

I have a 99 2.2 and right now have an injen intake, great intake IMO. A bit more costly... if you want something less costly which really does nothing for performance (not that the injen does much) look at vibrant intakes, or have one custom bent for you?

when i say the vibrant is bad, its only because it is only a tube and filter, no desgin what so ever, no mounting brackets, its just held on to the expansion box by a rubber coupling and bounces around everywhere im sure, I would have to check it every week, make sure its not falling off... and since it bolts to the box, not the throttle directly, you lose whatever SMALL amounts of performance an intake will get you...

good luck

^^^ Just to expand on mikeb's comments...

A Vibrant intake should come with a mounting bracket. It
might not be included if you get it from EBAY. Mine came with one
anyways.

It's true that they're meant to connect to the stock airbox.
I just bought a rubber elbow and attached it directly to the throttle body.
Problem solved!

Sorry about my post guys, it was a bit off topic because T.O. Boyz intakes were only for the 2.4. It just reminded me of them when you mentioned you were looking for an intake (because I want one of them).

I haven't heard anything about them in a couple of years.

I bought my Vibrant brand new, in the box... had NO bracket! it just came with the filter, tube and the connectors for the tube (rubber peice and 2 clamps)

but either way...

good luck
